Anyone remember Morten Harket? AIBU to have just realised his voice is very unique??

Obviously I was in love with him when I was about 10 (more than a few decades ago)! Completely forgot about A-Ha. But just today, I heard his song “Stay on these Roads” randomly on the radio. I knew it was him - what type of voice does he have? I never noticed as a child. So unusual. How does he sing like that?

@StormzyinaTCup - I think that was Magne. He had heart failure which was exacerbated by his lifestyle. He has got his shit together, had surgery and reportedly has a new lease on life.

We saw the TOTP performance of "Take On Me" on telly last year. My autistic DD, who was 14, just stared open-mouthed at MH for a bit then pointed at the screen and said "Who is he? What's his name?" then proceeded to ask how old he was and where he came from, and did we know if he was married. DH and I were trying not to laugh.

Also, has no one mentioned "The Farmer's Market" on the Armstrong and Miller show? MH makes a guest appearance selling his mustards!
