A Vodafone door to door salesman was doing the rounds on our road earlier with the latest offers that aren't available online apparently... anyway he left his business card and when I saw his name I had to LOL as it was Robin Crowe! His family must love bird names Grin

There is a former Gymnast from China called Dong Dong.

I was at uni with someone who had a middle name of Thomas and surname of watts so letters would come for Mr x Twatts.

When I worked as a language assistant in a German school, the headmaarer was called Mr Pitzer (sounds like how Germans pronounce pizza) and the deputy head was called Mrs Obst (fruit). My husband still laughs today, 11 years later, about Mr pizza and Mrs fruit.

Everyone purporting to know these people - given that some of these names pop up in phone ins and websites, that's a mad coincidence!
I can vouch for both of mine - my first came from my father, and I believe absolutely that he didn't lie to us, and the second is a person who I actually met, whilst he was our MEP.

That is what I meant earlier - so many people "know" a Le-a or ABCDE or Henrietta Dick - there are either thousands of them or people are (whisper) just repeating what they have heard or read
