A Vodafone door to door salesman was doing the rounds on our road earlier with the latest offers that aren't available online apparently... anyway he left his business card and when I saw his name I had to LOL as it was Robin Crowe! His family must love bird names Grin

An ex's boss was called John Thomas.
I always felt sorry for Austin Healey - apparently his parents did it deliberately.
And I worked with an A Pratt - another "did his parents realise what they were doing?" effort.

Visiting my parents grave, my DS noticed a new gravestone in the row in front which had the name Joe King engraved on the back of it. We went around the front and sure enough it was the grave of Joseph King with an epitaph which clearly showed he had embraced his name in life.

I know an Alison Allison. Married name, husband was happy for her to not take it but she chose to.

I knew similar but she became Helen Hellen.

There is a law firm in Warwickshire called Wright Hassall

How funny - we were only talking about them at work last week (solicitors). I dealt with them a lot in the 90s and we had a great working relationship.

Went to primary school with a Justin Lewis and his Brother was called Lewis Lewis!!!!
I was at sixth form with Emma Thompson, Jennifer Saunders and Robbie Williams
But the loveliest name I've ever some across was a girl in my geology lectures at Uni called Daisy Dent. Ever since then I've adored alliterative names

I used to work for a Credit Union and I kid you not, the Co-op banks Money Laundering Officer was called Nick Money.

I totally forgot, my mum taught a kid with the surname Obe Wan Kenobe. His dad entered a radio competition to win a holiday to florid if he changed his name by deed poll. He did the whole family!
