It seems to be more about detective work than forensic pathology, and all so far fetched .
Then the long lingering close ups, the clumsy plots and stilted dialogue.. it’s painful.

Of course its a pile of pants,but who cares?

I miss Clarissa, what a joy she was . I keep hoping they'll bring her back and I don';t care how ridiculous and far fetched the excuse is.

Next to Clarissa, I enjoy Nikki's collection of pretty blouses.
DH just enjoys Nikki.

Wow, just when I think each weeks episode can't get any worse, it does!!! Need to check the credits because I wouldn't be surprised if Emilia Fox is executive producer, that's the only way I can get her having such bonkers story lines!

I used to love silent witness. I am gutted this series was so terrible. It's something I look forward to every year. Such a let down.

I have this random memory that they shot an episode where Harry and Nikki get together but they didn't show it because the storyline was too sensitive at the time. Did I make this up???

What an ending! Can't wait for the next series.

Unless they bring Clarissa back.

I don't understand the Clarissa love on MN. In real life my friends who were fans were all glad when she went.

Her early days were fine but it turned into the Clarissa show in later series and detracted from the main events.

Had to laugh that during the night the storm raged , the rivers broke their banks , the floods ravaged the area , and the army were called in to help.
The next morning they waded through to all to get to the care home . Jack was still in a terrible state , so they popped him in a shiny clean taxi and drove him home on non flooded , no debris , very clear roads home !

They specifically have mentioned that Nikki was still in a relationship with Matt up until the latest episodes, but then was making moves with the student and Jack. I was sitting there thinking that she is a bit of a bitch really

Love it! The ridiculousness of the detection, the grotesque cadavers and storylines. All of it.

I like the first episode this series but couldn’t get into last week’s at all. The ‘kids’ making out on the mattress looked all wrong. Too old and normal to be doing that. I’m sure they had a sweet puppy and lovely little flat at home really.

Would a highly experienced pathologist cheerfully accept an unknown drink off a tray at a student party? I certainly wouldn't!

Anyone else think were being set up for a stalking storyline next series when Ollie turns scary after being rejected? He immediately gave me creepy vibes this series.

In reality, forensic pathologists turn up in hugely expensive cars, do the post mortem and fuck off again, producing a report in their own sweet time. And get paid an enormous amount for this. Not so much material for a third series there though

Yep, I was thinking that too!

His (Ollie's) appearance just seems too sudden and forced, like the makers are trying to get you to notice him and remember him for next time. If he was just a student a much more background and occasional role would suffice.
