Brown French Fancies are the worst...

And yellow are the best!

I've just opened a box here and there are 3 brown - they always get left to last.

My personal favourite is the yellow.

HRFT but did I imagine it or did French fancies have a little flower on top when I was a kid back in the mists of time ?

I hate to break it to you all, but pink and brown actually taste the same. I KNOW I KNOW HEAR ME OUT.

I’ve always had a preference (yellow pink brown) and my husband says they taste the same. During lockdown we conducted a blind taste test. Neither of us could tell the difference between them…

That only works till they're about 4 then they cop on that they are not chocolatey and are the horriblest. Pink are the best. The chocolate orange ones are nice but too rich to eat a whole packet in one go.

Mr Kipling's are fine. But Betty's are superior. With a thin layer of marzipan.

I don’t think the yellow ones you can get in a box on their own (the lemon ones) are the same as the yellow ones you get in the standard mixed box. The drizzle is a different colour for a start. I’ve never thought the yellow ones in the standard box were lemon flavoured and I don’t think it claims this on the box anywhere. I might have to buy some and do a blind taste test!!

Brown ones are the best! I don't like the yellow ones though.

If you think the brown ones are bad don't go near those after eight ones, bought them because, well I can't resist a yellow label, but my god, some things should never be mixed
I will say, however the yellow ones are definitely the better ones, if you want 'the best' you need to time travel to 1985, when they were proper cake and proper buttercream.

Pink, yellow then brown. All get eaten though in my family of gannets.

I like that there's no chocolate on the separate lemon ones because I can eat them when I've given up chocolate. I know it's a logic fail in reality 😂

Although now I'm wondering if it's chocolate or just brown icing...

Definitely yellow, then the chocolate orange ones followed by the Halloween orange ones.

You have opened up a whole new world to me. Why didn't I know about the white, Irish Cream and Creme Egg ones? I need them now! (so far pink are the best, then yellow.)

I don't know what the yellow ones are like.

If I open a pack within half a mile of DH there's a blur and two gaps where the yellow ones would have been!!

Favourite is yellow, don't mind brown or pink. Never seen orange ones, I'll have to keep a look out.

I like all of them. Once ate two boxes in 1 sitting (Asda had an off let on them ) before I decided to take my weight in hand & stop the binge eating. The white ones are weird & plastic tasting!
