Brown French Fancies are the worst...

I've just opened a box here and there are 3 brown - they always get left to last.

Annoyingly I can’t eat the pink ones due to them not being vegetarian so only yellow and pink for me but I do like the Halloween ones, not keen on the white ones

Hello are amazing. Love the brown, although less so than yellow.
Pink; just completely vile. I’ve stopped buying them now, unless I can get a box of Easter yellows.
The M&S version are the worst. The buttercream piece tastes like pure salted butter. I was nearly sick.

I've tried baking Fondant Fancies before three times and if my experience is anything to go by, they look like shit.

Yuk - Wikipedia says there's no lemon or strawberry in them at all and they're 30% sugar. Blee, as Smash Hits used to say.

They are a purely mass manufactured treat. Baking them seems pointless. It’s like those bake-off challenges where they baked tunnocks tea cakes. Just why?

Sorry I prefer the brown ones. That are my favourite. I hate the pink ones and don't eat them. The yellow ones are ok ( just)

I like to peel off the icing with my teeth and then eat the little blob of cream off the top and then the whole sponge square

i also peel/eat fish fingers, kit kats, bounty bars and mini rolls

and just so you know, you can buy boxes with just yellow in them. Delish.

Also did anyone else use to call them Fondant Fancies yes, I was immediately debating if I'd been calling them the wrong thing. PP theory that 'french fancies' is the Kipling branded version, as I can't imagine my parents ever spring for the expensive ones.

All French fancies are gross, Yabu to think any of them are nice

I'm lucky that one dd still goes for chocolate first. Other dd is into pink ones but I can still get by without having to consume any chocolate ones from the box.

They just aren't in the 'spirit' of a French Fancy are they!

They need to do Bounty - Chocolate/Coconut ones. I may have emailed them to request this plus mixed boxes of After Eights, Chocolate Orange and Bounty. I really feel like a lil MN email campaign would help me lobby them here
