Fruit flies?

Anyone have them at the moment?!? So annoying. Even the vinegar and fairly liquid trick isn’t working :(

Ah this makes me feel so much better that we aren’t the only ones plagued - I have scrubbed the house top to bottom and they still come.
I have gone from mildly swatting them away to stalking them with a rolled up magazine to manically spraying fly killer whilst yelling ‘die fiends’

I reckon mine came in on a mint plant from Tesco and the fuckers have laid eggs on my amazing basil plant which are both now outside. Vinegar and washing up liquid traps have taken out a load too. Hate them so much.

We left a bottle of red wine open, Just a tiny bit of wine at the bottom and they all went there and couldn't get out. Gone in a day!

We don't have many, only spot one or two at a time.

I tried the apple cider vinegar in a tall glass with cling film/holes on top last night and have 5 dead in it today. Hopefully they will be gone completely by the end of the week.

I’m pleased it’s not just me!
I put cheap vinegar and a drop or two of fairy into some ramekins. By the morning there were about 50 in each one!
It was the small food bin that seemed to be attracting them so I’ve put it outside. I also cleaned the big food bin as it was swarming with them. Seems to have done the trick for now…

We have loads of flies in general. Nothing in the house has changed. Can't work it out.
