WHY DO WOMENS CLOTHES HAVE FAKE STITCHED UP POCKETS?

If you're going to put a pocket in clothes, why stitch it up again?

Is it just me who's always pulling them apart to get into the pocket that is actually there but has just been stitched back up?

WHY.

People who don't stop when you've started walking across a pedestrian crossings and actually accelerate to "nip past" because they'd rather risk killing someone that being mildly inconvenienced for a couple of seconds.

On the topic of kid's shoes - I tell DD that she can pick any pair but they must not be slip on and they must cover her whole foot. I dont even discuss them as girl's or boy's shoes. She then looks through all the pairs and picks the ones she likes.

The chest pocket is hang back from when men would wear waist coats. They could put things like cigarettes in the waistcoat pockets. Bit as the popularity declined, and the t-shirt was the 'outside' clothes. The pocket was added to the front of the t-shirt.

Which is partly why men's pockets are better shaped/bigger than the stupid little ones on women's shirts... because women have no need to carry anything in their clothes,for they have a sensible bag. Where as men for some reason are still expected to cart stuff around in their pockets.

Of course, 00100001, before wrist watches men had pocket watches which they kept in their weskit pockets. Thank you for the reminder.

You know back pockets on women's jeans or trousers, the real pockets, do any women ever actually put anything in them?
