Is it just me who's always pulling them apart to get into the pocket that is actually there but has just been stitched back up?

Why are labels made out of really scratch material and sewn under seams so that they are impossible to cut out without leaving a little scratchy stub!

If you get a needle and gently tease the little bits of scratchy stub, and then gently use a pair of tweezers to pull a tiny number of the threads, you can sometimes get the stub out. It's very satisfying to hold the garment up to the light and see that the label has completely gone.

@Gliblet people who leave bagged dog poo hanging from a tree generally do that when they're walking a loop that they know has no bins en route. They just pick it up again on their way back. Leave it hanging from a tree so it's easy to spot and you don't forget.

Walking down favourite village lane to find verges strewn with cans, plastic drink bottles, takeaway food wrappers. Why? Is it soooooo difficult to put your crap in the bin when you get home? One repeat offender regularly dumps used inhalers in the same patch of grass. WTF? The dykes in our village must contain 100s of the same brand of beer can. Who is doing it? Then there's complete black bags of rubbish dumped in the verges. It must have taken more effort to drive the rubbish bag out by car to dump in the lane than it would have taken to put outside the house on rubbish collection day. Morons! 😡

The teabags are joined together sometimes. I hate the nano second it takes me to unfasten them. Sometimes one then breaks everywhere.. the rage is real.

Last winter I bought a Didriksons waterproof coat that had:

4 decent sized zip up pockets on the front
a key pocket
an internal mesh pocket big enough to hold an OS map.

It has been life changing on the 'carrying the shit you need when you leave the house' front and if it wasn't too warm in the summer, I would have worn it every time I left the house.

Luckily in the spring, I also got two pairs of M&S 3/4 length cargo pants that also had several decent pockets, so now every time I go out, I'm pretty much wearing one or the other.

On the matter of pockets, why do many t-shirts feature a one inch square pocket on the front that looks shit and cannot securely store any item known to woman?

I hate labels in my clothes, too and generally cut them out.

However, with a particular pair of pyjama bottoms and in order to stop the scratchy little stump of the label getting on my very last nerve, i cut too much of it off and managed to actually snip the stitches.

I didn't realise how bad it was until I sat down on my cold leather sofa and yep. 😬
The 2 sides had completely given up the ghost and my bum was completely exposed.

To put their mobile phones in! People are giving them to younger and younger kids rather than speak to them.

Why does my doctors make me do an eConsult then email me to ask me to ring and make a telephone appointment? If I could get through on the phone I wouldn't have don't the bloody eConsult in the first place!

The chest pocket is hang back from when men would wear waist coats. They could put things like cigarettes in the waistcoat pockets. Bit as the popularity declined, and the t-shirt was the 'outside' clothes. The pocket was added to the front of the t-shirt.

Which is partly why men's pockets are better shaped/bigger than the stupid little ones on women's shirts... because women have no need to carry anything in their clothes,for they have a sensible bag. Where as men for some reason are still expected to cart stuff around in their pockets.

Could be to avoid tripping on uneven paving slabs - they are very common where I live, and a danger to old people. You might not notice them unless you've had a fall already.

I agree on the stupid school shoes for little girls. We went to Clarks to get dd's shoes and they all had that open bit in the middle. That's fine if they are driven to school but when she walks with me will inevitably end up soaked and miserable. I'll have to take wellies for her to change into.

Also when my dh dries a pot or pan after washing and puts them on the stove top instead of in the pan drawer where they belong. This is conveniently located next to the cooker top in a drawer. It pisses me right off!

WHY does my son’s school treat the grass on the playing field every September without fail when they’ve just had an entire six weeks to do this. No football allowed now. Give me strength...
