to think that the job advets should have ben accurate to begin with

have been working part time evenings for a couple of years now, but saw this job advertised at job centre plus which would be ideal for me it's in school hours etc

applied and got all excited when invited for an interview, but a little umming nd ahhing as we would have to put dd into daycare until she started school and the wage was down as negotiable so have been on computer for about three days trying to work out the minimum i can afford to be paid so that i can pay the nusery and trying to work out if we would be entitled to any wftc etc (although of course we aren;t!!)

anyway to cut a long story shortish, have just been on the job centre website to check the name of the lady i have to meet at my interview and they have changed the job details!!!
the job is still down as a permanent position at the top of the page but at the bottom in captials it says TO COVER MATERNITY LEAVE it definately di not day this before as i wouldnlt have bothered applying as i can;t afford to quit my current job for the sake of a couple of months!!

the contact name has also been changed and now i'm not sure what to do i don;t want to waste anyone's time by going to the interview whislt knowing i can;t accept the job if it is temporrary....

As you sure it's the exact same job???

I'd ask for clarification if I were you. Either the job is permanent or it's not. A lot of people very stupidly confuse "permanent" with "full time" - unbelieveable but true.

i suppose it could be a different one, but the contact name that i sent my app form to has changed and been replaced by the lady's who i'll meet at my interview

i suppose though that they could be looking for 2 people for the same hours if some if due to have a baby? i suppose i'll just have to keep my fingers crossed and ask at my interview
