To think it is impossible to get socks to stay on a newborn (recommendations pls!)?

Hello

Just that: I would love recommendations for socks or booties that will stay on my two week old’s feet. He kicks socks off with ease and then cries that he has cold feet, which he hates. This happens constantly through the day.

Help pls!

Gap worked best for us, but that was some years ago now!

^I think the mum knows if her baby needs socks or no.'

How exactly, if it is 35 degrees? Babies all over the world in that heat do not wear socks. It can't be farenheit if he is wearing little rompers because it is too hot for babygros.

Cant believe people recommending Sock Ons, they are ugly as and look like bandages. Better to go with babygrows

@WorraLiberty

Gorilla tape?
Exactly what I thought 😆

I am ancient compared to you but in my day everyone swore by Gap baby socks for staying on. Think you can still get Gap online now the shops have closed.

Megan2018 · 30/08/2021 13:46

Babies don’t need socks and their feet and hands are meant to feel cold.
Socks are superfluous until shoes.

Sock ons or babygros with feet

Why have you posted this on every baby sock thread since 2008? Is this your company?

We got given a gift hamper from a company called Baby Blooms which included a few pairs of socks which are amazing at staying on, the whole sock seems to be stretchy so they've fitted my 3 month old baby since she was a couple of weeks old. Lovely and soft too. A quick Google shows you can buy the socks without buying a whole hamper. Sock ons have also been recommended to me but I reckon I'd lose them all the time tbh and they aren't the nicest looking things.

We found The Little Sock Company’s socks the best. The quality is way better than most high street stores and they have lovely colours. They have non-slip soles too which are a life saver once baby is on the move. I think the site is just www.thelittlesockcompany.com
I couldn’t get on with sock ons, they don’t look great and just kept getting lost in the wash. Waste of money.
