to expect some random woman in Asda not to touch my baby's face ......?

I was pushing my trolley round Asda with my 14 week old daughter in the lay back seat, I turned my back to pick up some bread rolls and some random woman touched my daughters face tutted and said she was 'sucking the zip' on her snowsuit, she wasn't she was licking the material which she does all the time! She then proceeded to fold down the material on the suit, OMG I was so angry and embarrassed I couldn't say anything apart from 'oh'! She sucks and licks anything she can lay her hands on and I make sure its all safe! As if I would put her in danger by letting her suck a zip!

Am I being too sensitive?

i hate people tuching my kids, i move them and move on as quik as posible. You dont know where they have been. however i would of told you she was sucking her zip as my ds at 10 months was suking on a zip on a pair of trousers from next and the zip snapped off and he choked and it got stuck when i tryed to pull it out and cut his throat.

Ack its hard, and you have been very gracious here anyway, am not sure

I think I don't care if people touch my kids or whatever. Really not, BUT

my kids do, and always have really. Especially baby #2. So I do have to take that into account.

Also in Asda, some idiot elbowed DS in the head when he was in his car seat- he is my PSB (perfect 2nd born) and I stood there almost imploding saying 'YOU...HAVE...JUST...ELBOWED...MY...SON...IN...THE...HEAD
and his reaction.."sorry love". I was incandescent with rage for hours, think I must have been hormonal too that day
