@OliverBabish omg I do this too! It’s like my brain hyper focuses on the object and I have the most intense feeling I must take it with me or move it etc

So, like you, it could be a bit of lose change, a bobble, a sandwich bag, a spare tshirt for the kids, anything and the exact situation arises during the day where I need the object I had the urge to take.
And with moving things it can be like a full glass of juice on a table, perfectly where it should be, not near the edge or anything and I have the urge to move it to the other side of the kitchen and then someone does something where the glass would have gone flying if left where it was.
We leave the back door key in the lock and I’ve had a few times where I’ve had the urge to take it out before I leave home and I’ve lost my keys so can’t get in but my mum has a back door key so I can use that but only if I’ve removed the one always left in.
It really is like my brain is screaming at me that I will NEED that item that day.
I can also think about someone that I haven’t seen for ages, they just randomly pop into my head and then I see them that day, even someone I went to school with 10 years previous 🤷🏼‍♀️

"Aliens" of some sort. Surely we can't be the only life form in the whole universe.
Are we the aliens to the other beings!?
And if I was an alien I wouldn't want to visit us because humans destroy everything, create wars and greed for money and power is all that some people care about

Mothership4two · 27/08/2021 05:03

@SwimmingOnEggshells

Do you remember Barbara Woodhouse? Maybe you are too young? She was a dog trainer and tv personality back in the 1980's (I think) and she had the same effect as you on certain watches and electrical equipment. So much so that the cameras had to be kept a distance away from her while filming.

Mothership4two · 27/08/2021 05:54

@GiftedFish

Odds are we aren't on the only planet with life in the Universe. NASA estimates that there are at least 100 billion planets in our Milky Way alone. Outside the Milky Way there are millions upon millions of other galaxies (according to ESA).

I've always thought an alien would look down and see us as a destructive form of virus destroying the planet. Hopefully they won't come and vaccinate the planet!! Shock

sqirrelfriends · 27/08/2021 06:54

I think I can unconsciously sense the very near future. I reach for my phone a moment before it rings, check my email for a specific reply and it pops up and start thinking about someone a moment before I bump into them.

MydogWillow · 27/08/2021 07:13

Insane belief to some but I can feel the energy from trees. Big oaks are wonderful.

Also, my feet fizz with electric underfloor heating. So much so I need to hook my feet up on the chair rail as it's quite uncomfortable. Doesn't happen with a wet system though.

justanotherremainer · 27/08/2021 08:35

My ex FIL was a very nasty man. When he died, there was a heatwave and on the day of his funeral it was almost unbelievably hot. I believe that the heat was caused by the gates of hell opening to let him in.

Great thread op!

justanotherremainer · 27/08/2021 08:40

Also stuffed animals are real and have feelings.

And animals understand WAY more than most people think.

My BF thinks dogs see our souls rather than our physical bodies.

SwimmingOnEggshells · 27/08/2021 09:15

@Mothership4two interesting! So maybe it's not all in my head?

BulbasaurusRex · 27/08/2021 09:29

Posters talking of heaven and hell have reminded me of another idea I have on this - that when we die and are shown ‘all the answers’, part of this is being shown (and having to feel) how we’ve made others feel. So if you were good to others, that would be lovely. But if you were not...it would be very painful, so that would be your kind of hell.

Mothership4two · 27/08/2021 10:10

@MydogWillow My feet and ankles get prickly pins and needles when I walk under an electricity pylon. I met a woman the other day while we were walking our dogs and she gets the same feeling. Maybe it's that?

We could be superheroes but we don't know what our power is yet!

Greenqueen40 · 27/08/2021 10:20

Candyman!!!!

GiftedFish · 27/08/2021 10:58

@Mothership4two

I agree. People think I'm crazy when I say it but I think they're ignorant to believe there's nothing else out there.

FeralMeryl · 27/08/2021 14:15

@BulbasaurusRex me too!!! (heavily influenced by nde accounts)

MulberrySquash · 27/08/2021 15:15

I see a lookalike of someone I know and then bump into them later that day.

I feel a sort of energy when something is about to happen, I can't explain it any better but it's like the air is pregnant with the anticipation of the thing, and then it happens.

My dreams have predicted things like 9-11 but I think that is probably down to confirmation bias in that I thought back to a hugely disturbing dream of people and things falling in the darkness all around me and a man with an American accent shouting 'uh oh we're done for', so I've linked it to that day just purely down to the accent of the man.

I feel energy from trees too!
AmadeustheAlpaca · 28/08/2021 11:57

@MydogWillow and @XenoBitch I love trees - particularly conifers - and am really jealous that you feel tree energy. Trees definitely have personalities.

Firefly2 · 28/08/2021 12:40

@swimmingOnEggshells look up the Pauli Effect…it’s a thing! I have it too!

MarmaladeToastAndAMarmaladeCat · 28/08/2021 13:13

That if I stay in the bath until the water drains out something bad will happen. I did it for the first time as a child and right after my mum sat me down and told me me nana was dying Sad obviously I know it’s impossible that this would cause something bad to happen but I can’t bring myself to do it.

Tealwarrior · 28/08/2021 13:17

@ActonSquirrel

I used to believe in determinism I.e. the belief that our decisions are part of an unbreakable chain of cause and effect and that free will is an illusion.

Now I believe in the multiverse: there are an infinite number of alternative universes in existence, of which we only experience one. I like that thought. That somewhere some place a different me has a better life.

I’m sorry but I’m confused.

If we experience only one universe how can there be another another one of us experiencing a different universe somewhere else?

PolytheneRam · 28/08/2021 13:20

I don't believe in moles.

Tealwarrior · 28/08/2021 14:09

@PolytheneRam

I don't believe in moles.
Neither do I. They are in fact beauty spots.
TimeIhadaNameChange · 28/08/2021 23:47

@QueenBee52

Mirrors keep memories ...

I kept my Mums mirrors after she died..

I like to think she sees me and I feel her 💕

That's lovely!
LovelyIssues · 28/08/2021 23:53

That 9/11 was an inside job.

ZednotZee · 29/08/2021 00:17

That 9/11 was an inside job.

Surely this is an accepted truth at this point?
