Got the bus into town with K, T, L & A Headed to HMV and got my favourite cd. Tried on clothes in River island and Topshop, nothing looked good, the shiny skirt and fluffy top looked amazing on T and she knew it!
Pinched lip liners from Body shop, sprayed some White musk and managed to get out without anyone noticing.
Ate two Boosts and Pickled onion monster munch on the bus home, felt gross, will never be thin now.
Ate Spag Bol for tea and watched 90210 then Blind date.
Met everyone down the passage, pissed on Strongbow super, K robbed 5 embassy off her mum.
Got tickets for Bowlers next week, sooooo excited, hope F goes, I’m wearing my Kangol trainers or Gazelles and a crop top.

Ah the memories! I’m 41 and would’ve guessed sometime between 1994 and 1996. I grew up in Ireland but it’s all very familiar!

@KurtWilde is afflecks still good now or do you mean in a nostalgic way? Ds 16 and his bf are going for a day to Manchester soon and I’m very out of date! Could do with suggestions!

@Karwomannghia it's still good, we took youngest DD (11) through to Manchester for her birthday, first time she's been interested in going into Afflecks and she absolutely loved it in there - couldn't get her out! I always go in when I'm in Manchester.

@HalzTangz I went to Tammy girl as a small girl, lots of coloured scrunchies 😅the first burger I ever tried (even before Mcds) was a cheeseburger from Wimpy/Whimpy (you mean the burger place, right?) on the train home with my mum, it was the most delicious thing I’d ever tasted.

My So Called Life is one of the most underrated shows of all time. Fun fact, Rayanne Graff (AJ Langer) married a British aristo and currently lives in a Manor House in Somerset or somewhere.
“Jordan Catalano” came to my home town to make a film, (90s, before he went all weird) and I honestly thought I was going to meet him and make him fall in love with me.
Thanks for the nostalgic post. I’m not British but it sounds very like the English of the British Annuals I used to devour back in that era.
