@Comedycook

Thank you 💗 it is but we take each day at a time and treasure the good ones

Tapasvapas · 11/08/2021 21:10

We are on bed for 11/12 hours. I co sleep with all 3. The 3 and 5 years old sleeps through and can sleep forever. The 14 weeks old sleeps the same amount but wakes every 4/5 hours for a feed. Think I do two chunks of unbroken 4 hours each.

3WildOnes · 11/08/2021 21:10

Between 6 and 8. A few days a week I will nap for a couple of hours in the day with the baby.

WeeWelshWoman · 11/08/2021 21:12

According to my Fitbit, between 6.5 and 7.5 most nights.

Wtf is the point of your post? You’re getting the recommended amount of sleep. Are you deliberately being a twat?
Tiredanawfullot · 11/08/2021 21:15

Usually 11-5 (6 hours) then I’m woken and usually get about another hour

Quornflakegirl · 11/08/2021 21:15

9 hours regularly, thankfully I have had undisturbed sleep for over 5 years now.

CustardGoodJamGoodMeatGood · 11/08/2021 21:17

Around 8/9 hours, DD sleeps 7-7 usually so depends when I go to sleep

kcha302927 · 11/08/2021 21:18

7-8 hours on average. Sometimes maybe less or more!

Summernamechange2021 · 11/08/2021 21:25

Average 8 hours a night. I used to be tired no matter how much I slept but started eating regular meals a few weeks ago (trying to lose weight) and seem to have a bit more energy to get through the day.

Minniem2020 · 11/08/2021 21:44

Usually around 6 hours as ds can still be awake at midnight then up again at 6. I currently have covid and I'm on my arse with tiredness so myself and dp are taking it in turns to have naps through the day at the moment

GriseldaChop · 11/08/2021 21:51

According to my Fitbit about 6hrs a night, sometimes a bit more in the hols. My 7 year old is an early riser and I work full time so out the house 7-6 term timeConfused. I'm really really tired tho and have always needed my sleep so my dream would be to book a night in a hotel with the best bed ever and just sleep until I woke up! Probably three days later! Grin

Sceptre86 · 11/08/2021 21:56

My children are 5 and 4 and are asleep by 8. I am normally up for 6.30am for work so depending on when I go to bed can get quite a lot of sleep. It was a lot less previously. I am due my 3rd child in a few weeks so will go back to very little sleep no doubt and am not sleeping very well now anyway.

Sh05 · 11/08/2021 21:56

If I went to sleep earlier then I'd get around 8 hours but with a few wake-ups as DD still wakes up for feeds at night.
But I can't bring myself to ge to bed as that time is my only me time so 6 hours with two wake-ups in between.
I know when it's less than 6 as I feel well in myself but always breakout in coldsores.

Gertie75 · 11/08/2021 21:58

On school nights about 9 hours but weekends and holidays can be up to 12, I don't always sleep those hours, sometimes I spend a bit of time faffing on my phone like now.
I've always slept a lot though, even as a baby and don't function well at all on little sleep.
I'm quite looking forward to retirement so I can fit an afternoon nap in too.

Sh05 · 11/08/2021 21:59

I should add that although DD sleeps until 8 I can't bring myself to lie in past 7 as I feel like I'm wasting the day away😐

Wanderlust20 · 11/08/2021 21:59

7 or 8 hours too and I have an 11 week old (yup, smug mummy here!!)

Make the most of it before they hit 4 months!
Sh05 · 11/08/2021 22:07

Oh god! Mine were always 5 months. They hit 5 months and that long chunk of sleep of 11-5 became a thing of dreams!

SquigglePigs · 11/08/2021 22:07

7-8 hrs on a decent night. I usually wake once to go to the loo. On a bad night I struggle to go back off, especially if I don't wake till 5 ish. DD is two but a pretty good sleeper unless she's ill. She's usually up around 6-6.30.

romany4 · 11/08/2021 22:11

Menopausal and can't stay asleep for more than a four hour chunk.
I'm knackered

Briarshollow · 11/08/2021 22:31

8 hours, 11-7. My baby is a dream sleeper and always has been. He’s done 7-7 from about ten weeks. Little legend.

Totally blown away by what some of you have to contend with.

Ignore anyone talking about leaps and regressions at four months. Babies do not develop according to a schedule, or an app…things like the discredited Wonder Weeks are cynical commercial products aimed at desperate parents who want to know what is going on. I don’t know any babies that had a leap or sleep regression, just sometimes they wake and sometimes they don’t. My baby, my friends’ babies, my sisters’ and brother’s babies all just got into sleep routines and that was that, unless they were sick.

Keep on doing what you’re doing. 💪🏻

Lostmyway86 · 12/08/2021 07:52

I really hate it when people say this. Neither of my babies had this so called regression. Nor did any babies I know. Why try to make someone anxious about something that probably won't even happen!

Quornflakegirl · 12/08/2021 08:31

lostmyway86 Neither did mine children, I read about it and worried and waited but nothing!
