I get anywhere between 7-8 hrs usually sometimes even 9 rarely but still tired sometimes.

5-6 hrs but that’s not due to the dc who sleep really well, just because I go to bed too late & have to get up for work early!

Disrespected · 11/08/2021 15:34

6 max. But no more than 1.5 unbroken.

OaxacaChihuahua · 11/08/2021 15:36

I get about 6 in one chunk (from 10pm til 4am), then another 1.5 - 2 when my husband takes over at 6am. It’s a very survivable amount. Two months ago my baby was waking hourly and I was suicidal, so this is a vast improvement!

Generalpost · 11/08/2021 15:38

4/5 hours sleep at 3 or 4 am then up by 7 or 8am I feel shattered 😥

bubblebath62636 · 11/08/2021 15:56

DD2 is 7 weeks so around 8 hours broken into 2 chunks on a good night.

Chippingbird23 · 11/08/2021 20:24

Wow I thought my 7-8 and I’m still tired was bad but some nights broken sleep so probably more 6 hrs. Hats off to those that sleep 4-5 hrs a night

Average around 7. 11pm - 6am. But DS (aged 5) frequently wakes before 6, so sometimes only 6 or 6.5 hours. I should go to bed earlier to get more sleep but like other posters I need the time to myself in the evenings. DH usually falls asleep 30/40 mins or so before me and I love that time to myself, reading or on my iPad, with no one else expecting anything of me in the way of conversation or attention - just me!

VaguelyInteresting · 11/08/2021 20:42

Single parent to an early riser... normally 5 or 6 hours. 3 or 4 if I’ve had to work very late on a project deadline. Between 10 and 14 on the very rare occasions DS sleeps out at his grandmothers (maybe once or twice a year?)

Permanently on my knees with tiredness.

Germolenequeen · 11/08/2021 20:43

DS is 24 and I can count on one hand the number of full nights sleep I've had in those years - a good night is 5 hours 🙁

Bortles · 11/08/2021 20:46
  1. I need 8. I hate the world.
hopingforabrighterfuture2021 · 11/08/2021 20:46

During term time, probably only around 6. I go to bed late and get up early. But at weekends and in school holidays when I’m not working, (so grateful for this!) it’s more like 8.

Rabbitheadlights · 11/08/2021 20:48

4-5 hrs and with 7 DC, 1 With complex additional needs that's not likely to improve in the next couple of years but I manage.

Comedycook · 11/08/2021 20:49

Obviously depends on the age of the kids.

Mine are 10/13 now...I sleep for as long as I want thank god.

Comedycook · 11/08/2021 20:49

Why's that?
MintyGreenDream · 11/08/2021 20:51

Around 8 hours.Ds used to wake every 1.5 hours up until the age of 1 then every night til he was 3.I love the fact that I can get a normal nights sleep now!

Germolenequeen · 11/08/2021 20:54

@Comedycook

He had terrible colic as a baby so never slept through and I developed chronic insomnia which wasn't helped by the fact that he was suicidal aged 12 due to bullying & an inpatient in CAMS - he has suffered from severe anxiety and depression ever since - is high functioning ASD.

Why do you ask???

I was just wondering because you didn't put much information in your post. Sorry...it sounds really tough...wish you and your ds all the best Flowers

BakewellGin1 · 11/08/2021 20:58

About 6 hours with interruptions and then he wakes up bright eyed and I'm hanging Hmm I'm back to work full time in a week so that will be amazing.

AliasGrape · 11/08/2021 20:59

Somewhere between 6 and 8 hours but it's very broken, DD is doing so much better than she was sleep wise, and in her own cot after nearly a year of co-sleeping, but she does still wake fairly frequently. She doesn't always need anything but I still wake up at every murmur and take a while to go back to sleep. At least once or twice a night I will have to get up.to resettle her but it doesn't take too long these days.

MaryShelley1818 · 11/08/2021 21:00

About 4-5 but not in one go.
Had about 3hrs last night.

My toddler sleeps like an absolute dream and always has so I'm now being punished with 6mth old DD who is a terrible sleeper and still wakes hourly some nights.

TerribleTango · 11/08/2021 21:00

About 4-5 hours a night in 1-1 1/2 hour stretches at best

Cheeseplantboots · 11/08/2021 21:02

I don’t sleep much, usually around 5 hours a night. I go to bed around 2am and up at 7am. Every few of weeks I could sleep all weekend. I used to sleep well until the menopause!

YouJustDoYou · 11/08/2021 21:06

6 very broken hours, on a good day. 3 under 9.

20viona · 11/08/2021 21:07

8-9 hours generally. Daughter is 2 and sleeps 12 hours a night generally.

lioncitygirl · 11/08/2021 21:08
  1. Last night I had 2. Most nights a solid 5-6 hours.
