Partner didn't notice my hair

Aibu ? Partner of 11 years didn't notice my hair cut until days later, it wasn't just a trim we are taking from down my back to shoulder length quite a huge difference, he didn't even say sorry he just said your hair looks nice, am I being unreasonable to be a bit annoyed/ upset ? Fwiw I've never had my hair this short before

When I was 16 I got my poker straight long hair cut to around shoulder length and permed. A week later the neighbour commented to my Dad (who had seen me daily) that my hair was nice. My Dad didn't have a clue. Sometimes people don't notice.

He noticed. Just didn't say anything. Maybe he didn't like it and didn't feel like paying a compliment.

My DH hardly notices stuff like that. It doesn't bother me anymore (also 11 years in)
