I remember reading on here when Trump lost the election, and you telling us that Mr. Across was outside sounding the bullhorn .

You got it!!!

We actually do have a HUGE bell outside our back door. It's the kind you see in old school houses or to 'call the hands in' back in the day. We're on property and I used it to call the DC & DH in to supper instead of standing on the porch bellowing like a stuck pig. Nowadays it pretty much just gets rung on New Years at midnight, although it rang a few peals last November, too.

My DDs are US citizens, so yeah, skin in the game. A lot of family over there too, split evenly down the middle between Trump-loving Republicans and relieved Democrats.

I know quite a lot of relieved Republicans too! Who's expected to throw their hat into the Republican ring for 2024, other than Fartman?
