This is massive. Yes, many of the Jan 6 posts were public and documented — but many others were in private groups. And this also means getting all the Messenger group threads.

Woah! Facebook co-operating is interesting in several ways.

Partly because of evidence pertaining to 6 Jan; partly because Facebook doing something to help anyone other than Facebook is a shift.

I wonder if they're feeling a little heat after Frances Haugen's evidence to the Senate? She was in London today giving evidence to a Parliamentary committee on the Online Safety Bill. (I missed this, alas, so must make time to watch the vid.)
