OK, not in person, but I'm bloody loving 'Clarkson's Farm on Amazon Grin and look forward to an episode per night. I know he's a bit of a prick, but the programme is really watchable and I'll be sad when there's no more episodes.

What is getting you through?

I really loved the show. I binged watched it. I thought what he was doing was ace

Wheresmybiscuit3 · 15/07/2021 09:03

Though I have to admit I did cry when Covid came into it.

derxa · 15/07/2021 09:16

Yes we farmers loved it and yes to 'Cuntyfile' Grin

belimoo · 15/07/2021 09:24

@MaintainingPositivity

We love this, JC is like exercise sometimes I like it, sometimes I don't!

This series is fabulous, absolutely hilarious and Gerald is brilliant - worryingly I understand most of what he says Grin

Can you really?? That's impressive!

I can't understand a word!

I wish we had a political party that prioritised the countryside and life there.

Yes me too. It used to be the Conservatives but no longer. Labour seem to hate the countryside and everything it stands for, ditto the Greens who seem more concerned with trans issues than anything else
ferretface · 15/07/2021 11:29

Not a massive Clarkson fan but loved the series!

Horst · 15/07/2021 11:32

Loved it we watched it all in one night really hope we get another season.

AdobeWanKenobi · 15/07/2021 11:37

I do think Gerald is a tad played up. When they are all sat together at the end he's perfectly easy to understand.

Amusingly we have the Amazon glitch which sometimes sees Prime subtitle anything it detects as another language. In half the episodes when Gerald came on it subtitled him in German 😂

rosie39forever · 15/07/2021 11:37

Kaleb and Gerald are so funny and definitely need a series of their own, clarksons been trying to film a second series but so many people have been turning up at the farm so they've had to put it on hold.

Hopeisnotastrategy · 15/07/2021 11:53

This series really cheered up DH and I recently when we were both at a low ebb. We'd go to bed early and watch an episode or two on an evening.

A tonic for the spirits in these depressing times., hilarious with occasional moments of sadness. I do hope there's another series.

oldwhyno · 15/07/2021 12:05

It's a brilliant show.

He's a professional provocateur, so he's bound to trigger a few people, but I'd happily sit down to a steak and a pint with him.

Gotthetshirt23 · 15/07/2021 13:05

Not got Amazon prime Sad

billysboy · 15/07/2021 13:17

Best thing on telly for ages , Cuntry file should have a good look at it !

OldScrappyAndHungry · 15/07/2021 14:56

@belimoo I think if you’re brought up in the West Country it’s a little easier to tune into the accent Grin.

mateysmum · 15/07/2021 15:06

Absolutely loved it. But one abiding mystery is how Clarkson has punched (ha ha!) so far above his weight with the lovely Lisa, who seems content to put up with him being a twat and to work on the farm.

I can give you 48 million reasons as to why she puts up with him.
Heyha · 15/07/2021 16:03

Reminds me of the Mrs Merton Debbie McGee interview....

I would happily stand and have a natter with Lisa in the shop, I'd want to give Kaleb a pat on the back too but I expect he'd be out on a tractor somewhere.

I think probably the thing that's swung me and many other Clarkson sceptics is how genuine he is with his fondness for his animals. You can't fake that. I could have cried for him when he dropped those first few sheep in and realised what had happened while he was doing the paperwork!

Cocolapew · 15/07/2021 16:46

Lisa used to be married to a billionaire, I don't think she's short of a bob or two.
