1
AIBU (Am I Being Unreasonable)
where people have a dilema and want opinions, actually want to hear POV to get a perspective...

and

2
INAM (I Need A Moan)
Where people have a total whinge and it's understood that they are NOT looking for advice, opinions or solutions and when they ask what you think, what they actually mean is I need you to agree with me.

What think you?

which one does this fall in to?

Hekate · 24/11/2007 12:20

Whinge.

As most of my posts do.

No. AIBU is a perfectly clear question.

Saturn74 · 24/11/2007 12:31

I think the whole topic should be put in a rocket and blasted into space.

AIBU?

No YANBU.......on the drinks thread...I said sorry for tone in which I posted the rely..I see that it could have been misconstrued.

I don't have a great deal of faith in the schooling system anyway as it let my DS down very badly. And I suppose some of my own guilt for not taking my own parental responsibitly came though.

However......I do agree with OP as the question is AIBU....so in this age of political correctness are we not allowed to disgaree for fear of exposing the errors of posters actions.

Is just disagreeing with someone now a vicious thing. I do think that disagreeing can be done with compassion.

So I think new threads should be....

I feel bad about such and such, give me a warm fuzzy.

and

I am ranting and open to debate and disagreement when done constructivly and with out malice.

Although the second title could do with some re-wording.

how the bliddy hell do you spell disagreeing.

dd666 · 24/11/2007 12:54

wanting debate
wanting support
are perhaps more appropriate

beeper · 24/11/2007 12:57

aye DD666 (shiver at that number)

But....the fuzzi camp and the debating camp will prob never mix so does that mean that the ranters and the fuzzies would each go on in thier own world and never see the best of each side.

Where would the Razzies go (those who vere from ranting to fuzzieing go)

Problems problems

pointydog · 24/11/2007 14:22

beeper, people were exaggerating wildly on that drinks thread. You did well to apologise. Put their gas at a peep.
