Posting here for traffic.

Woke up yesterday with a migraine with aura which I sometimes I get, had a pounding headache all day.

This morning woke up with a pounding headache again and it's making me feel I'll. I took paracetamol and it's not helping.

Please share with me your migraine remedies. My daughters are on school holidays now and I have to entertain them so this couldn't of come at a worse time.

Thank you in advance.

Amitriptyline has worked for me, is a muscles relaxant that removes tension. Was having totally debilitating migraines with auras and sickness. Been on amitriptyline six years without a single migraine.

I was prescribed propanalol as a preventative 5 years ago, I haven't had one since. I'm supposed to take them daily but I take them every 3 days which seems to do the trick. I was getting 3 or 4 a month which was horrendous

Speak to GP. Caffeine helps mine but you have to be careful as for some people it can be a trigger.

Can of full fat coke. I never drink coke but crave it with a migraine.

@Dodie66 that's really interesting about caffeine. I can feel the blood vessels throbbing at the side of my head with a migraine so will deffo try this.

Syndol used to be the only thing that knocked mine out, but i think the ingredients have changed. Weirdly having a kid has greatly reduced the frequency of mine. Thank christ. I do feel for you x
