Where can I find decent quality chicken breaststroke

Tesco and Sainsburys chicken breaststroke seem to be pumped full of water which comes out when they're coked and it's disgusting

I am fed up with it, and it's beginning to be incredibly off putting!

Is waitrose or co op any better?
No M and S, asda, aldi, lidl, morrisons near us..

I've got a mental image of chickens in swimming pools now.

A butcher. We won't buy supermarket meat anymore. It's not far off the same price, and tastes so much better. Plus I can get the exact quantity we need. I know which farms are part of his supply chain, they are all local. I message the butcher each week with our order and he has it ready.

Leave their breasts on them. Lots of other stuff to eat.

God why do people think it’s SOOOOO ‘spat out my tea, woke the baby up’ funny. It’s fake as IF someone doesn’t check the title AND the OP ffs. Feel embarrassed for some people So cringy

TinkleTongs · 27/06/2021 19:49

@Sparklfairy

Maybe they have so much water if they didn't keep doing breaststroke?

Is this another one of those slightly desperate attempts to get a thread into classics claiming autocorrect has made a typo?

There was a similar one recently about apparently bastarding a monkfish

Who pissed in your cornflakes?
NavigationCentral · 27/06/2021 19:51

Quite right @Growuppeople - it’s blatantly obvious.

NavigationCentral · 27/06/2021 19:51

@quizqueen

Good quality chicken breasts look so much better on live chickens walking round the farm and laying eggs. I watched a documentary about how hens were en masse slaughtered in the slaughter house, I've never eaten one since.
There’s always one of those too.
NavigationCentral · 27/06/2021 19:52

@cheesecrackerz

Wow, auto co-erects galore!
Another attempt OP with “erects” instead of corrects?! Alas.
OverByYer · 27/06/2021 19:53

At the chicken Olympics?

BogRollBOGOF · 27/06/2021 19:53

American chicken should be suitable as it's chlorinated and might have been off to the swimming pool.

Morrison's meat is usually decent though.

(Minecraft chickens love a pool of water in their pen for a splash!)

Growuppeople · 27/06/2021 19:54

Who pissed in your cornflakes

The people who find this type of things funny, just don’t understand why fake auto corrects are funny Confused

Lockheart · 27/06/2021 19:58

Ah, another contrived auto-correct thread right on the heels of the 'bastard monkfish' hilarity.

IncessantNameChanger · 27/06/2021 19:58

I only buy chicken thighs now. I dont eat much meat and thought of what little I do eat being pumped full of shit makes me feel sick when i cook it. It's now something I avoid. I normally buy chicken thighs from.Aldi or Lidl but I did think the Lidl ones was looking like they had water added this week too.

BastardMonkfish · 27/06/2021 19:59

@Oysterbabe

Breaststroke is pretty tricky with wings, that they are attempting it at all is impressive.
You could say it's plucky of them
Wheresmybiscuit3 · 27/06/2021 19:59

No chickens can’t swim

FelicityBeedle · 27/06/2021 20:02

I buy a chicken and fillet it. Much better value and bigger breasts too (and stock, and thighs and wings and drums)

JorisBonson · 27/06/2021 20:02

I don't think chickens are very buoyant.

SuperFairy · 27/06/2021 20:03

Swimming chickens and auto co-erects 😂 😂 😂

Sorry that I have nothing sensible to add 😆😆😆

Ilovesleeeeep · 27/06/2021 20:07

It might be better at the breaststroke if you spatchcock it 😉

Londontown12 · 27/06/2021 20:07

Co op chicken breast are chewy !!! Morrison’s is the best but I can see u haven’t got one sorry 😞 xx

Craftycorvid · 27/06/2021 20:07

I was about to suggest the OP might find the chicken breaststroke next to the bastard monkfish but I see folk have beaten me to it. Or alternatively, bastard monkfish might be next to dreaded plaice?
