See I don't swallow the idea that the problems were due to inexperience. This is the government of the UK are we really meant to believe their is no talent in the UK?

I assume it's been leaked as he's been designated as the person to be thrown under the bus instead of Johnson. So he will have to go eventually. They don't half cling on these days though.

Johnson is under pressure from backbenchers and Sunak to drop restrictions. The public is becoming increasingly less compliant. Hancock urges caution.

Now Johnson can relax restrictions and Hancock can't credibly oppose him in Cabinet. If it goes tits up he can blame Hancock because, alas, Hancock's behaviour reduced public confidence and forced his hand. He can then dispense with Hancock when it's convenient. At the moment no one would want the job.

How would Hancock being the scapegoat in the inquest work unless Johnson actually fired him for one of these numerous scandals? That ship has sailed. There's more of a chance of Hancock going rogue like Cummings and blaming it all on Johnson.
Boris surrounded himself with those who are like him - incompetent and immoral - whose role is to keep lowering the bar of public expectations.

Bloody hell his poor wife and kids. There is a special place in hell for someone who not only cheats, but does so knowing that any proof of affair would be so public. I feel sick for the poor woman.

Why would a company specialising in the provision of urgent and primary care services to NHS patients not have several NHS contracts??

It says SO much about BJ that he thinks this is all just fine and dandy. To a serial cheat like him this is no big deal. But once he gets the feedback from his beloved focus groups, Hancock will be gone, I'm sure of it. It's not the affair that voters will object to, it's the hypocrisy. This will cut through like Cummings and Barnard Castle, no question. The interesting thing will be watching the manoeuvres. I reckon Hancock will be pushed to resign on Monday as BJ won't want to have to sack him.

So she worked for a large organization. But at what level and what were her responsibilities ? What did this strategic counsel involve ? How do we know that it was successful ?
