there's a lot of did/didn't with Clavinova should be renamed Kidsnet !

the80sweregreat · 26/06/2021 17:48

A sex tape of ' Gnat' !
I really hope it's just a rumour online to be honest.
The other footage was bad enough :(

It’s like pantomime.
Blackbird2020 · 26/06/2021 17:52

spoiler alert Sunday papers rumored to have a mildly censored pics and video of Act 2 of a rumble in Whitehall. I shan't be looking...

I think there’s more... press know how to get mileage out of these things. And the fact it’s from May makes me think they been collecting quite a stash before finally going public. Didn’t the press do something similar with the expenses scandal?

ResIpsaLoquiturInterAlia · 26/06/2021 17:53

@BiscoffAddict

What do we think the Sunday papers tomorrow will have on him?
Supposedly lots more c̴u̴m̴m̴i̴n̴g̴ coming. Possibly they - the inner cult circle have material on each other in the race to the bottom! It is after all hands face s̶p̶a̶c̶e̶ arse. Hanjob at least was not testing his eyesight and knows (I hope) his number of known biological off spring or wives/mistresses. Basically could not make this stuff up as it may help to explain not excuse their incompetent negligence thus far relying on “trusted” mates or family to do the job especially if they don’t have a relevant professional or business background as part of this once in a lifetime opportunity to jump on the gravy train that so far has wasted billions and killed hundreds of thousands with unknown numbers suffering long post Covid syndrome or in economic and mentally challenging positions. The real life circus is and will be truly in town as this $hit show goes despite the main character considering the matter closed. This is just the opening act folks….

@Clavinova

I agree with you that the police should start by going round to couples who have been fined

I doubt any couples have been fined for snogging in the office. What was the name of that Labour MP (female) who broke the first lockdown to meet her married lover? Was she fined?

Police can hand out FPNs for not wearing a mask in shops, trains and other public spaces.
Was Hancock wearing a mask at the time of the snogging? If not would you agree that anyone else who has been fined for not wearing a mask should be allowed to apologize and have their money back? Would you agree that those organisations that have been fined for Health and Safety breaches because staff have not followed social distancing should be allowed to apologize and have their money back?

Yes, I'm sure there's a perfectly innocent explanation for the fact that the company of the brother of the mistress of the relevant Minister, has several NHS contracts.

What NHS contracts? I haven't seen any evidence yet, just a rumour. Do you have a link?

On Saturday a spokesperson for PHL said its contracts had always been awarded in the correct way.

They said: “PHL has been operating for over 11 years and at all times has secured contracts through the robust tender and procurement processes put in place by local Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs).

“At no time have any contracts been awarded outside of these rigorous processes and no contracts have ever been awarded by the Department of Health and Social Care.”

www.theargus.co.uk/news/national/19401081.firm-family-connection-hancock-aide-says-contracts-properly-awarded/

requiring 15-20 days of work per year for the salary of £15,000. This works out to an hourly rate of £750 - £1000. Biohazard rates?

Looks more like £750 - £1,000 per day to me - not per hour.

Fernie6491 · 26/06/2021 17:56

I do think these people must have hides like a rhinoceros.

To be confronted with video evidence such as we've seen so far, and be able to carry on 'as usual' takes someone with a great deal of chutzpah!

BiscoffAddict · 26/06/2021 17:56

I don’t know why my last post was hidden? Allegedly the press have similar dirt on other government ministers, others are claiming another woman has come forward to say she’s had it off with Hancock. Who knows. I did wonder why they didn’t save the story for Sunday? It’s like an old school News of the World scoop.

littledrummergirl · 26/06/2021 17:57

Cockinhand needs to take his cock in hand!
How dare he tell me the rules I have to live by while ignoring them himself.
It's worse than the Cummings trip which was bad enough due to his position.
What a total knob!

bollihigh · 26/06/2021 17:59

@Blossomtoes oh no it isnt ... Grin Matt Hancock looks back to the door "in front of you !"

Matt Hancock wasn't filmed snogging in any of those places as far as I am aware. Have office workers been fined for not wearing masks in the office?

bollihigh · 26/06/2021 18:02

It's worse than Cumming's - he was an advisor not a minister albeit a twat and it was panic station times and he did have Covid and panicked. That said the video is a slimy piece of dirty undercover work that sits very uneasily with me.

LemonRoses · 26/06/2021 18:03

He should not be given the option to resign.
He has failed to uphold the seven principles of public life.

1.1 Holders of public office should act solely in terms of the public interest.

I think his breach of ministerial code rather knocks that on the head.

1.2. Holders of public office must avoid placing themselves under any obligation to people or organisations that might try inappropriately to influence them in their work. They should not act or take decisions in order to gain financial or other material benefits for themselves, their family, or their friends. They must declare and resolve any interests and relationships.

Definitely not managed any part of that one, from Cheltenham forwards.

1.3 Holders of public office must act and take decisions impartially, fairly and on merit, using the best evidence and without discrimination or bias.

Well ministers and cronies can go where they want, there was a failure to follow the evidence that resulted in one of highest mortality rates. He screwed over care homes then lied about it.

1.4 Holders of public office are accountable to the public for their decisions and actions and must submit themselves to the scrutiny necessary to ensure this.

Hah!

1.5. Holders of public office should act and take decisions in an open and transparent manner. Information should not be withheld from the public unless there are clear and lawful reasons for so doing.

Well the courts have rather scuppered any suggestion of compliance with this one.

1.6 Holders of public office should be truthful.

No, not that one either.

1.7 Holders of public office should exhibit these principles in their own behaviour. They should actively promote and robustly support the principles and be willing to challenge poor behaviour wherever it occurs.

Not Hopeless, not Johnson nor any of the current cabinet.

These are the standards set down by the government that other more lowly public servants are required to adhere to. It’s farcical.

I have already answered that question - why should I scroll back if you can't be bothered to?

With respect you need to understand these rules are only applicable in democratic society. We evidently have a jungle. Different standards, law of the jungle etc.

Are you suggesting that it is alright to not socially distance and wear masks in offices, but perfectly reasonable that the government has had the police going round fining people for not wearing a mask in shops?

Let me help you all out, because I gave @Clavinova the chance to answer this several times earlier this afternoon.

@clavinova was unable to provide any examples of what would be grounds for Hancock to resign.

Clavinova · 26/06/2021 18:09

Blossomtoes

For goodness sake - I answered here;

(I take it from your answer to my question, or rather the lack of answer that there is nothing that Hancock could do that you think would be worth him resigning for.)

If he was having trysts with Gina Coladangelo at the same time as Neil Ferguson last year then definitely - April/May this year I'm undecided.
