Johnson and Cummings really want him out don’t they. He’s the fall guy for everything. Boris will also retire imminently as he will make far more money by public speaking than he would as PM, with none of the responsibilities of an irritating pandemic. DC will predictably slide back in next to Rishi Sunak. And no one would ever guess this was the cunning plan all along

I'm not. It's not like he actually does anything useful.

He was never going to get away with not leaving though againstmachine! Common enough in politics to have to go, well back when ministers used to resign for things anyway, but be able to return to cabinet later on when things had died down.

Boris clearly is hoping to just move on because if he sacks MH then surely he should have resigned himself over the whole Jennifer arcuri thing.

Cummings wasn't wrong, was he? He just redirected us temporarily.

It's obvious Cummings knew about this; had known for some time; and has evidence that Johnson knew too, probably WhatsApps.

There are many many MPS that have had affairs over the years - and i cant remember hardly any of them getting the sack . so I dont think he will be "special " if he keeps his job.

I've managed to get through an entire career without shagging the help or giving part time high paid "advisory" jobs to old friends who also happen to be involved in companies who can gain from the relationships.

I don't think I'm particularly unusual.

Imagine if you were separated from.a lived one while they were dying due to Covid rules :(

It’s not about having an affair it is about a dubious use of taxpayer’s money where there was clearly a conflict of interest when the MP in question was shagging the beneficiary
