To ask you to help me find this wooden duck :(

I know it’s not an AIBU but it’s urgent, I’m absolutely gutted.
I have just returned from holiday with my DM and DD and whilst we were there I fell in love with a wooden duck with pink boots painted on and a little scarf around it’s neck. My DM brought the duck as a little surprise for me and I adore it. However my daughters dad has just come to visit my DD and he threw this duck at me and it’s smashed to bits and it’s totally unfixable. Can anybody help me find another one before my DM notices? I’ll post a picture of the said duck albeit smashed to bits.

BTW, my DD never saw or heard anything. His temper is the reason we are not together.

I'm sure your Mum will understand.
But you could try to mend it - if your Dad is a carpenter he can mix sawdust and wood glue together to make a paste to fill in any little gaps where splinters have gone missing. Then pop "Duckie" on a high shelf and you will be able to enjoy seeing it but not close enough to notice the damage.

My mom does know he’s abusive it’s not a secret but I’m not upsetting her over this.

Contact Haven, they will be able to give you the name of the stall holders, even if you have to ring round each one . Really hope you can find a new one.

Actually, there is a Facebook page called “Haven Devon Cliffs visitors chat” with plenty of people who seem to be there now. I’m sure if you ask, someone will find the stall holder and get the details for you.
