Which premium brands do you think should not be premium?

For me it's Morning Fresh. I thought it was shite a decade ago. Bought it again recently and it is still crap. It doesn't lather and my usual Aldi own brand is far superior. How on earth has it survived this long?

And panadol/other branded paracetamol. Get the cheapest one you can find, they all have the same ingredient....

Gibson guitars. Absolutely appalling build quality and have been for years. I don’t know why anybody would buy one.

Most perfumes except perhaps a small selection of lesser known brands

They all smell the same...patchouli, bergamot, tobacco, Tonka bean, etc, etc. Zero creativity and poor quality

YSL - devalued by reality ‘stars’ and tacky Z list slebs, the fake bags are so convincing that prestigious labels, once the preserve of the rich, are now within easy grabbing distance of the plebs

Louboutins - ‘they’ buy one real pair and wear them to death

‘Luxury’ has gone mass market.

High net worth individuals are no longer carry bags with these labels, they carry Celine, Azzedine Alaia, Loro Piana, Carolina Herrera, etc

Dyson, sure. Apple? Even if they’re not for you you can’t seriously argue that their phones, tablets, computers, and computers at least hold their own against anything their rivals offer.

Personally I don’t know anyone who having used an apple device has then gone back to something else. Whereas movement in the other direction has been huge the past decade+

I've used Apple devices and switched to other brands. I had an iPhone and hated it, couldn't wait to get a better one. I also used an Apple computer at work for a time and hated that too. I'd much rather have a good Windows PC which is cheaper and runs better. The only Apple product I had, loved and still miss a bit was my iPod.

I've had iPhones, much prefer Android. I currently have both a Mac and a win10 laptop, hardly ever use the Mac. I work in technology and much, much prefer Android and Windows, for many reasons.

Gucci Soho disco bag.

I’ve had it a year and it it looks like I’ve had it for 8 years.

I bought a £6 primark bag 8 years ago and now my daughter uses it. It’s held up really well and it really has been used heavily. Through all weathers, carried bottles of water, nappies, clothes, packed lunch ....

The Gucci bag I use every day to carry my purse, keys and phone.

The Gucci and primark bag look the same age.

Only I think the primark bag will last me a lot longer than the Gucci.

Though will never admit this to my partner. He wasn’t very happy when I bought it because he said it was a waste of money. He was right.

Could have bought a whole new wardrobe of clothes from primark with the amount of money i spent on that bag and it would have made me happier!!
