AIBU?

To think these messages from my friend is bonkers?

My friend will send me pictures every couple of days, like a picture of her face captioned 'tell me how good I look' or a body picture captioned, 'what's that runrun, I'm looking rather skinny?' Or a selfie saying, 'isn't my skin positively glowing'. It actually is making me laugh writing that down, I'm not even kidding 😂

This is very odd right? What do I respond to these? So far I ignore.

"That's nice dear". Rinse and repeat.

If challenged do offer a photo of your little toe doing a curl with a cotton bud and tell her to admire your gainz.

Defo the runrun up to an MLM pitch. So if you briefly say yeah, you do look glowy... it'll be well runrun if you want this for you, try this tea/juice/faabulous serum.....

You definitely need to message back saying her skin does look good. And see if the MLM predictions were right. Or the cat.

I would bet she’s part of some MLM which sells either natural products or skincare, and this is her attempt at drawing people in.

She is grooming you for MLM.

It's definitely leading up to a mlm sales pitch. I'd start asking her what her secret is, just to get her to come out with it a bit quicker 🤣

Definitely agreeing with other suggestions that it is a MLM.
You reply in the affirmative agreeing she looks great.
She says "wanna know my secret?" and tries to sell you some juice/aloe/pills whatever

@userxx

What the fuck does runrun mean? She sounds a twat to be honest.

Found this funnier than I probably should 😂

I'd reply 'good for you' every time.

Maybe she's in love with you and trying to impress you.

Or she could have a mental health problem.....

I lost a friend to juice plus, one to scensty and another to aloe Vera. Had to block them all. The juice plus one tagged me into pictures of an overweight woman with her face blurred out. It looked like I had posted it, so my friends though I lost weight through juice plus!!! I told her to stop tagging me in and blocked her. Some friends sell body shop, but they've been absolutely fine (like the old Avon ladies I suppose.).

MLM. She wants you to agree and ask how she looks so great etc, giving her a way in. Ignore

I would be tempted to tell her that, whilst you are very flattered that she is sending you flirtatious photos of her body and inviting you to admire her, you simply do not want to get into a relationship.

Weird! I'd find that boring after a while. Fishing for compliments is always annoying, but at least it's not usually quite as blatant and demanding as this!

This definitely!
