PLEASE help me find my phone! Pathetic but desperate!

I managed to lose my phone in my own home, in the space of two minutes. Without going into details, I REALLY need this phone. It's a very bad time to lose it.

I can't ring it because it's on Do Not Disturb.

I've searched high and low. It's going to run out of battery eventually and then I definitely won't be able to ring it. Please, Mumsnet, can you help me.

Reminds me of a fabulous little snippet I once overheard from a woman desperately trying to get a word in edgeways on her phone outside a shop: 'Mum....Mum....Mum, you're....No, Mum...Mum...MUM! LISTEN! YOU HAVEN'T LOST IT - YOU'RE TALKING TO ME ON IT NOW!'

Well, I've mislaid my phone too. And the first place I looked was under the bale of hay in the living room. Yes, I've got one - it's for the guinea pig. It's not a full sized one, mind, about the size of a thick briefcase.

I can't ring it, because I have a really shit signal and it doesn't work in the house. Can't use an app/Alexa to find it because it's an old coal-powered one and doesn't connect to the internet.

It may be under the cat.

Why did no-one suggest under a hay-bale?! So obvious!

I guess if you hadn't found it that would have been the final straw.

I lost mine this morning and ended up under my mattress somehow.. check random places like that! Under the sofa? in the fridge? I hope you find it!!

@realhousewifeofnowhere I lost mine under a delivery of hay years ago, found it six weeks later when my horse had eaten her way through it! Fail.

Another reason for me to love my fitbit. Since I discovered the Find My Phone app, it's saved me hours of fruitless searching.
