PLEASE help me find my phone! Pathetic but desperate!

I managed to lose my phone in my own home, in the space of two minutes. Without going into details, I REALLY need this phone. It's a very bad time to lose it.

I can't ring it because it's on Do Not Disturb.

I've searched high and low. It's going to run out of battery eventually and then I definitely won't be able to ring it. Please, Mumsnet, can you help me.

Fridge? Look for something else that is out of place. I hunted high and low for my phone and couldn't find it. Discovered butter tub next to the sofa and when I was putting that away I found my phone in the fridge.

Is it an iPhone and does it have Siri?
I find mine by walking around saying "Hey Siri! What time is it?" (or any nonsense question) until she answers

I was just about to suggest....have you looked under the bale of hay? Glad you've found it OP.

Have you got a Google home or Alexa? They can ring your phone for you I do it all the time just literally say hey google/Alexander ring my phone

This happened to me yesterday. It must have dropped off the bed, landed on the floor and got accidentally kicked under.

When I lose mine, it's always in that crease on top of the sofa between the cushion and the sofa back (phone case is same colour as the sofa so it blends in)

It’s going to be a long night.

I always look under the bale of hay first when i lose my phone.

My phone is either:

• between the sofa cushions
• in my handbag all along and i just didn't see it
• under the paper
• on the bed
• on the windowsill in the bathroom
• in the car under the seat

but never under a bale of hay..

Bale of hay should always be the first place you check.

Try calling it 3 times in a row I know on my phone its set so when on do not disturb if the same number calls 3 times in 15 minutes to let the call through as it could be emergency.

It's like someone trying to describe a Disney film because they couldn't remember what the film title was, only for it to turn out that it was a Dreamworks film!
