Practical Magic and all the Pitch Perfect films.
And Some Kind of Wonderful for 80's magic.

I love Sunshine on Leith but the lead actor has just been jailed for rape so not sure if its going to be a feel good movie anymore for me. Sad

What we Did on Our Holidays was my favourite anyhow Smile.

pollywollydoodler · 31/05/2021 12:09

Any Pitch Perfect
Either Paddington
Nativity
The Holiday

vampirethriller · 31/05/2021 12:18

My two are Muriel's Wedding and Pulp Fiction.

Munkustrap · 31/05/2021 12:19

Cool Runnings
Groundhog Day
Arthur Christmas (if you aren't bothered about watching it out of season)

OohKittens · 31/05/2021 12:20

BlipBlopYourNipNop · 31/05/2021 12:39

The Proposal and Chef.

HelplessProcrastinator · 31/05/2021 12:51

My all time favourite is Strictly Ballroom. Also agree with all the Pitch Perfect films. Current favourite in our house is Mitchells vs the Machines. Animated but enough to entertain adults with loads of geeky film references.

Fyredraca · 31/05/2021 13:00

I like Six Days, Seven Nights.
It's really daft but it always makes me happy.

newtb · 31/05/2021 13:21

Full Monty
Calendar Girls

SquirrelFan · 31/05/2021 13:27

Moonstruck.

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 31/05/2021 13:32

Some Like It Hot
The Sound of Music
It's a Wonderful Life
The Ladykillers (original 1950s version)
Planes, Trains and Automobiles

AnImposter · 31/05/2021 13:35

Eddie the eagle!

billy1966 · 31/05/2021 13:47

Overboard
Dirty rotten scoundrels
Pillowtalk
Jane Austen adaptations.

MatildaTheCat · 31/05/2021 13:51

As Good As it Gets. Pure wonderfulness.

Rosewood017 · 31/05/2021 13:51

Coming to America
Bridesmaids
500 Days of Summer
Serendipity (always watch this in the autumn)

janlevinson · 31/05/2021 13:56

Before We Go - Chris Evans and Alice Eve. Randomly saw it one day but it's feel good factor has stayed with me.

janlevinson · 31/05/2021 13:59

Cocktail always cheers me up too

Needhelp101 · 31/05/2021 14:07

Definitely Paddington 2. My late friend took me and my DC to see it so it has wonderful memories attached to it. If you don't cry at the end (happy tears!), you're not human!

Sense and Sensibility. Actually, pretty much any Jane Austen adaptation.

Bit of a wild card here, but Men in Black 3. Funny, thought provoking and moving.

2bazookas · 31/05/2021 14:08

True Lies

Needhelp101 · 31/05/2021 14:11

And yes to Priscilla, Muriel's Wedding and Groundhog Day. Also Four Weddings and a Funeral and Yesterday. Richard Curtis knows how to write a feel good film.

Tana433 · 31/05/2021 14:13

Both the Sex and the City films or Shirley Valentine.

JeffreyJefferson · 31/05/2021 14:19
