Very annoying. Can't wash my hair today because I'm going out on Saturday night!

Makes perfect sense to me If she washes it today it’ll need a wash on Saturday but then it’ll be fly away Saturday night. Day old hair is best, so she needs to wash it tomorrow night. No need to wash it today and tomorrow.

Ideally I would wash my hair every three days, but some mornings are more convenient than others in terms of time to style / dry etc - so I end up washing my hair on Mondays and Fridays - thus after two or four days, but never the ideal three. By Monday it doesn't really need washing, but Thursday is always a bit of a bad hair day.

I frequently think about how there should be nine days in a week, so that I can wash every three days but on the same days every week.

Your hair looks gorgeous in a ponytail, OP. No need to wash it at all!

@washingmyhair You could try dry shampoo? Or some say baby powder can do the same job. Are you doing 'The Curly Girl Method' or some other hair care routine with strict rules? I did that for a while, then gave up.

Sometimes back when I was working I would have to wash my hair TWICE in ONE day, before i went to work to make it look presentable if it hadn't been done in the few days before and then due to the nature of the job do it again when i came home otherwise it would stink!
If i was going out on Saturday i would either wash my hair today and make it last on saturday, I would wash it today and then again on saturday or I would wash it today and again tomorrow!

Wtf? I washed my hair this morning and will wash it again before Saturday night. I do consider myself fairly normal though.

I have some Vintage Vosene hidden away, that effects a clean that lasts from Sunday to Sunday like it’s the 1970’s.
