If I was going out Saturday night (if only!), I'd not want to wash my hair any later than Friday night. It would look better if I did it tonight though.
Day 2 hair is my best hair.

But if I was going out Saturday, I'd be doing my hair today and just refreshing my curls before heading out, otherwise it would be more frizzy and just get worse as the night went on.

Why can’t you wash it? Mine gets a bit wild and frizzy when I wash it and takes a few days to settle and look good. Is it like that?

If I wash it today, it will have lost shape by tomorrow evening. So I will need to rewash it tomorrow. And frankly, who has time for that. So I leave it an extra day and wash it tomorrow instead.

Yeah, I wouldn't wash it on a Thursday if I way going out on Sat night either. I'd wash it on Friday night.

Wash it on Thursday and it wouldn't feel fresh enough for Sat.

Wash it on Fri night and it would be just right.

Wash it on Sat morning and it would be all over the place in Sat night (it takes at least 12 hours to 'calm down' and remember how to act.)

I definitely wouldn't wash it Thurs AND Fri because I couldn't be bothered and it isn't good for hair to be washed every day. It would probably panic and produce extra grease or something.

There is no law that says you can only wash it once. How bizarre! Either wash it if you want to, or don’t - but don’t make a drama over some arbitrary self imposed restrictions!

I’m with ya, sister. I had the same dilemma earlier today.

Freshly washed my hair is fab, then downhill until Day 3 ponytail/topknot day.

Luckily a new 7 day lockdown was announced this afternoon, so the problem disappeared on its own- along with all my plans!
