No it is truly crap, which is why I'm sitting on my computer like a saddo at quarter past eleven at night when I should be in bed in case my daughter wakes me up at the crack of dawn. (No offence to everyone else posting messages at this time!) The Sugarbabes were awful - is it me or is it only Keisha(?) (far right I think), who can sing? Also that new one in the middle is v pretty, but looked like a piece of tumbleweek had floated by and got caught on her head. Also, why is Fern wearing bandages on her legs. (Not everyone can be be as stylish as me - looking a real beaut at the mo, with my pj bottoms tucked into my socks and a too-tight t-shirt stretched over my great big pregnant belly. Lush!)

clapping to the spice girls though

Jenkeywoo · 16/11/2007 23:26

I love the newsreaders - they are so camp it's frightful.

corblimeycharlie · 16/11/2007 23:31

Be grateful you are not in Wales now... we are being "treated to" Aled Jones singing Father and Son now. [cringe emoticon]

expatinscotland · 16/11/2007 23:33

i gave it a miss tonight.

SmileSam · 16/11/2007 23:36

I meant tumbleweed! Aled Jones, surely not? I thought they only wheeled him out at Christmas to do the Snowman thing?!

smartiejake · 16/11/2007 23:36

Can't believe Aled Jones is still going as a singer. I though he was crap when he did the snowman before his voice broke.

corblimeycharlie · 16/11/2007 23:47

Sadly here in the Principality Aled has been able to prolong his career. [not very discerning emoticon]

twinsetandpearls · 16/11/2007 23:50

try being backstage and listening to it all with the bas turned up to high, lots of strenuous warbling and far too many reality contestants milling about.

corblimeycharlie · 16/11/2007 23:53

twinset - you have my sympathy. Btw do you think that there are children in nee.......... oh never mind.

twinsetandpearls · 16/11/2007 23:55

you have confused me cbc!?

2shoes · 16/11/2007 23:56

well in answer to that yes. sadly dd is counted as a child in need and I think i am right and money was given to her school.

twinsetandpearls · 17/11/2007 00:00

Most of the children I teach could be classed as children in need and they worked hard today to raise money for children in need today, made me very proud.

corblimeycharlie · 17/11/2007 00:06

Sorry - was just being sarcastic about how many times I've been asked that today while dressed in pyjamas and carrying collecting bucket. Thought you would have had the same?

Obviously not.

Well done for all your efforts today.

I know it's for a good cause, but it's embarassing, boring, badly made TV.
