I HATE my wedding dress

I'm getting married next month, my dress has arrived and I hate it. I need to find a new one and fast. Please help?

I have toyed with the idea of non-white dresses, at this rate I'm open to anything. Ideally wanted a midi length pale dress that doesn't look like a bridesmaid dress (The one I have bought is blush and floaty and bridesmaidy). :( :(

Just a word of warning from my friends experiences - JJs house comes from I think China and is tailor-made, takes ages and cant return as made to fit. Light in the box - I cant remember why but was told to stay away (could be similar reasons).

AP dress has arrived and is actually a little too big in a size 8!
Very comfortable however.
What do we think of that length - needs taking up a bit?

I will probably buy new sandals of a similar heel height but would like something more comfy

If you’re already wearing heels then yes it needs taken up a bit otherwise. You’ll risk tripping up on it.

Thanks everyone, I definitely like it a lot more than the original. It might not look it but its not snug against my bust/waist and very very floaty in the tummy/hips region (which I'm okay with, hides tum/bum nicely) but would like it more fitted around the upper body.

Annoyingly they go down till size 8 on the site I bought it off, with 25% off was only £120! John Lewis have a 6 for £225...

It does not look too big . It drapes beautifully.

It looks more like a formal evening dress to me.

I wouldn't pay for a size 6, get it shortened when you have your shoes and taken in at the top.

It's lovely, don't try and get a 6 though, put the money you've saved towards getting it taken in where you need it and taken up professionally. I'll never forget my mum deciding the night before my wedding that her skirt needed to be an inch shorter and then wailing that she'd ruined it.

Oops posted to early. Don't worry about any not bridal comments. You just need to be jacked up (I may watch too much Say Yes to the Dress), aka add your veil or tiara or whatever you're doing to your hair, your bouquet, jewellery etc

You look gorgeous!! Have you decided on this one for sure or are you looking at the ghost dresses still.
Another vote for professional seamstress she will be able to keep the skim of the size 8 but whip it in super snug wherever else you want it.
Your figure looks beautiful.

Are you going to wear anything in your hair? You could do a veil in a soft gold tulle and fresh flowers in your hair. Or gold twisted sort of Grecian goddess headpiece.

It’s gorgeous! Don’t size down. Keep this one and get it altered to fit you perfectly, including having it taken up to exactly the right length once you know for sure what shoes you’ll be wearing.

The ghost dresses have arrived - one is a S, the other XS - can you tell which is which? They actually feel pretty similar, XS probably slightly better. Now I'm genuinely torn between all 3 dress!
