To not want husband to play pool due to variant

My husband is 51 and is vaccinated fully but has heart disease. He is going to play pool without a few times a week due to easing of restrictions. Ther will probably be 15 in the venue. Aibu to be angry that he is going because the variant from india can infect those fully vaccinated?

@LoadingChoc

You guys are probably right. I just think that a few more years of being extra cautious is a small price to pay. Also the variant of Indian origin has a few more mutations than the others so vaccines work less effectively.
The government haven't said the vaccine doesn't work with the Indian strain, they actually said they don't know yet. Why are you jumping to conclusions and making claims

@skirk64 if you don't want to stay locked away fair enough. The majority don't want this to continue for years, we want to go to these places and yes it is a hardship if it continues for years. By all means, stay inside and do as you please though. Let the rest of us enjoy life and repair the economy.

However I will let my husband go but will still be worried

What do you mean you'll "let" him go? Hmm
