Why has the last thread been taken down with a ‘goady op’ message?
What’s so goady about asking why we can’t criticise the actions of Israel?

Palestine exists. Ethnic cleansing is happening. And every single thread gets taken down.

Only one person on that thread shouted anti semitism. Every one else was mostly in agreement about what is happening and it still gets zapped.

I’ll once again direct people to friends of al Aqsa on Instagram and Twitter in the hopes people see this and would like some real information.

Israel is an occupying oppressor committing genocide and the Palestinians are an oppressed people. There is no comparison in the force power and might of these two groups esp when one has the backing and funding of the US.

I have plenty of criticism for the Israeli government especially on the expansion of settlements in the West Bank (ideally, i’d like to see them withdraw) and sympathy for the plight of the Palestinians.

Do you not see it as the responsibly of the Israeli citizens to condemn the actions of their democratically elected government on this issue then? The issue of settlements ? And putting enough pressure and holding it accountable for the consequence of such behaviour then ? And acknowledging that it’s breaking international law without all the enabling excuses that you have been sharing on this thread?

I don’t understand how you can have sympathy for the plight of Palestinians but excuse the behaviour of their abuser in the same breath? Something about this doesn’t sit right. Please elaborate.

I know someone who was a talented, intelligent young man blown to pieces. His crime - getting on a bus to visit his family. Who killed him? A Palestinian terrorist. That is fucking EVIL. Knowing exactly what they were doing. There were also pregnant women and very young infants on the bus. You have no moral high ground hamas/terrrorist sympathisers. Look what people with a brain think of barmy Corbyn and his ridiculously skewed way of seeing the world. Israel should not be throwing people out their homes. But they have a right to exist, they are thriving and successful no matter what shit gets thrown their way. This makes the people whose life's mission is to destroy and eradicate them seethe even more. You will never convince me. I will stand with Israel always. You should be lobbying for Hamas to take care of its citizens but that would require them valuing human life.

The murder of anyone is unforgivable. You bring those responsible to trial not bomb the shit out of the place. Literally the only way to resolve anything is to agree a solution.

How is killing 115 civilians a good response to the deaths of 8 other civilians? It’s never worked. The circle of violence goes round. Israelis should be voting for peace not agreeing with another round of murdering.

Some of the Haredi Jews of Stamford hill, walked for 3.5 hours today towards the Israeli embassy, to honour the Shabbath while supporting human rights and condemning abuses done in the name of their religion.

I recognise their love for their faith, and honour that. It’s an intense love for their faith that they refuse to let someone misuse it and hijack it to use it as a tool to oppress someone else..

My hats off to them. Their bravery is beyond belief.

I’ve learnt so much about the Jewish faith because of them. I found out that we have so much in common. And grew to really appreciate that.

It really does truly feel like they’re cousins in faith, history snd lifestyle.

It's all relative.
The Israeli government are blowing up Palestinian schools, thereby expelling all pupils, and they control all who can drive in and out of Gaza (male and female)
The Haredi choose what's happening in their community, the Palestinians are not choosing what is happening - it's forced upon them.
