Who/What does a stunning woman look like to you?

Whenever someone says they/someone they know is stunning,all i ever want to ask is what do they look like.

Not because i doubt them, not at all, i just really want to know what does a stunning woman look like TO THEM.

I once had quite an awkward moment when a friend (who’d been raving about how staggeringly beautiful this woman she knew was) showed me a photo and clearly expected me to reel back from the glare of her stunningness, her image obviously melted onto my retinas...and I saw a very nice looking lady and sort of went ‘oh’. It did not go down well, but it was the build up beforehand!

I once met Rihanna in the flesh without makeup. She was standing outside the makeup room waiting to go in and I thought she was one of her backing dancers. She was so stunning it took my breathe away. Proper thunderbolt. Then later when she was performing on the show I realised she was the beauty outside the room. And I've seen hundreds of celebs yet she really stood out (although Gillian Anderson was incredibly enticing and Dawn French so effervescent she almost exploded with charisma). Lots of celebs look smaller, skinnier and more haggard that in films/photos.

Oh and Tuppence Middleton.

Kate moss back in the day. Not being ageist in saying she's not aged well, I think she has over indulged on certain things!

Are the first ones I think of as stunning. It's about having striking strong looks IMO, rather than 'pretty' like someone like Reese Witherspoon who is gorgeous in a more conventional way

Charlize Theron is stunning to me. She just so statuesque. Everything’s in proportion.

Marilyn Monroe. She was absolutely perfect. It was tragic she died so young but as they say - die young, stay pretty.

Elizabeth Taylor was luminous in her beauty, a one in a generation level of beauty.

With some women there may be a superficial prettiness, but too often a spiteful character shows through on the face, one woman already named above immediately springs to mind.

Today’s generation of so-called influencers ‘may’ look beautiful in a heavily filtered, heavily made up moment.
Remove all of that and they don’t hold a candle to the timeless beauties we’ve been talking about.

Emma Watson is very plain looking to me, but just shows how beauty is indeed in the eyes of the beholder!
