Whenever someone says they/someone they know is stunning, all i ever want to ask is what do they look like.

Not because i doubt them, not at all, i just really want to know what does a stunning woman look like TO THEM.

For me a stunning woman is a woman of any age who dresses well to suit her height / weight. Is well manicured , hair and nails . She wears just enough make up , and looks happy with her life in general.

A few years ago, I saw the most beautiful and stunning lady at a train station with a man who I presumed was her husband, they were both really elegant. i could not stop looking at her, she must have been in her 70's, wearing a fur coat, she had her grey hair in a chignon, she and her husband had a really classy look about them, but I have never seen someone with a bone structure and skin and eyes like hers.

I think Cindy Crawford's model daughter is stunning, she has a beautiful face.

Stunning = dark hair to me for some reason.

Generally someone who completely catches your attention because they’re just so naturally beautiful- and don’t need tattooed eyebrows and fake lips/lashes etc.

I agree re Yasmin LeBon. Possibly also Julia Roberts in the Pretty woman days and Catherine Zeta Jones in her darling buds days. A lot of the others mentioned are a little too fake looking. Generally these types would look just as stunning without make up. Helena Christiensen used to be - think the Wicked Games video..

Many I won’t remember all but off the top of my head

Amber Valletta young

Kate Moss young

Margot Robbie

Michelle Pfeiffer in early movies

Brooke Shields young

Lupita Nyong'o

Wherearemymarbles · 07/05/2021 21:28

Deborah Kerr - classically beautiful

2 i’ve met more than once
Christy Turlington - simply exquisite
Mel Sykes - stop you in your tracks stunning

Plenty of others but certainly not your typical reality cleb or insta influencer.

Poorlykitten · 07/05/2021 21:30

Mel Sykes??? Really?

Thewinterofdiscontent · 07/05/2021 21:31

Liv Tyler in LOTR’s

Agree with Lisa Bonnet, Yasmine le Bon, Michelle Piffer, kirstie Ally

I also think it’s the women that shouldn’t really be attractive but the sum of the whole is fabulous.
. Yasmin Le Bon features are pretty ordinary but all put together look amazing ...and then you factor in age and think wow!

Feather12 · 07/05/2021 21:32

Nyakim Gatwech, for her skin and her cheekbones.

Poorlykitten · 07/05/2021 21:32

Iman Bowie

Slanty cats eyes and serious pouts - Sophia Loren, Naomi Campbell, Eva Mendes, Kate Moss, Brigitte Bardot 😍😍

I find people that lots of other say are 'stunning' or 'gorgeous' (especially about men) really bland to look at - that model (forget her name), the one who's always got her kit off, for example, is like wallpaper for me.

Women like Kristen Scott Thomas, I think, are absolutely beautiful - she's got a timeless look about her. I could look at Michelle Obama, Sade, Princess Beatrice, Julianne Moore, Sigourney Weaver, Laura Mvula, Catherine Deneuve and Carole Boquet all day long for the same reason - there's nothing 'faddy' or 'fashionable' about them, they've all got their own very definite style.

billysboy · 07/05/2021 21:34

A lady that oozes confidence is always very attractive

Grapewrath · 07/05/2021 21:34

Gwen Stefani, the late Brittany Murphy, I actually think Kim Kardash is very beautiful.
Kate Moss

MizMoonshine · 07/05/2021 21:35

Emily Ratajkowski.

artquejtion · 07/05/2021 21:35

I have heard that before about Christy Turlington, in the flesh she is utterly stunning. Her daughter is incredible looking too.

MmeLaraque · 07/05/2021 21:35

Amal Clooney. Intelligence squared. She's lovely, and a brilliant human being. Physical attraction is okay, but some of us need a brain to engage with. I like people I can discuss with.

It depends on one's definition of "stunning". Some people go for looks (according to their own definitions) some people prefer to be able to discuss, so the connection has to be more cerebral.

Either way, it depends entirely on the individual perspective/definition of "stunning".

justanotherneighinparadise · 07/05/2021 21:36

Alesha Dixon. Not a line on her face even though she’s post 40. High cheek bones. Almond eyes. Beautiful olive skin. Completely stunning.

grapewine · 07/05/2021 21:37

Gillian Anderson and Lesley Anne Brandt now.

Audrey Hepburn then.

Zoinksalot · 07/05/2021 21:37

Adelaide kane

Martha warteleman

NessieMcNessface · 07/05/2021 21:38

Romola Garai in ‘Emma’.

MizzyFizz · 07/05/2021 21:39

I have always found Whoopi Goldberg stunning. Those cheekbones with that smile, dazzling.

Renee Russo
Judi Dench. The fact that some idiot man told her she wasn't beautiful enough to be in movies is a bloody travesty.
Gemma Arterton
Kate Beckinsale
Halle Berry
Julia Roberts
Melissa McCarthy. I know she tends to mostly play character roles that are not so very attractive but in real life, wow, that face.
Eva Green
Monica Bellucci. Especially in The Matrix
Scarlet Johansson

TedsWeeDonkey · 07/05/2021 21:40

Meryl Streep. Anne Hathaway.

AfterSchoolWorry · 07/05/2021 21:41

Rihanna to me is just stunning.

Namechangedforthistoday · 07/05/2021 21:42

@DrSbaitso

My husband would say me. No, he really would.

He's got shit in his eye, obviously, but it works for me.

@DrSbaitso nowt wrong with that, it’s the way it should be. And I don’t think for a second he doesn’t see you for the beautiful person you are 💐
