Whenever someone says they/someone they know is stunning, all i ever want to ask is what do they look like.

Not because i doubt them, not at all, i just really want to know what does a stunning woman look like TO THEM.

@MostlyGuesswork

Marina Sirtis (Deanna Troi from Star Trek)
I agree. Met her at a convention last year, she’s fantastic and she still looks great but anyone less like Deanna Troi you could never meet.

Gal Gadot
Michelle Pfeiffer
Angelina Jolie
Grace Kelly
Aishwarya Rai
Debbie Harry

They all seem to have that certain something to them. The only thing I can think is that they all have very warm genuine smiles that really light up their faces when they do it.

AlexDrake1981 · 08/01/2022 18:47

Sophie Ellis-Bextor is someone who I would describe as stunning.

Isaw3ships · 08/01/2022 18:47

Gal Gadot barely looks human! It’s why she made such a good Wonder Woman. You see her standing beside any ordinary person and you realise how gorgeous she is.

I’ve only ever seen 1 really stunning woman in real life. It was the way she moved as well as looked. She glided past me in Barcelona on Las Ramblas. Her hair was dark, swishy, glossy and wavy; her complexion clear & dewy with an illuminessence I’ve never seen since. She looks serene with an inner confidence. Her all persona was stunning. I can see her image now. To be truly stunning is rare imho. I do realise it’s subjective but everyone around at the time looked on in awe. Totally memorable.

Good fresh looking skin, a relaxed confident disposition, a sparkle and an easy smile.

Bitbloweyoutthere · 08/01/2022 19:13

katherinejaneaway knew I recognised the name but couldn't place it. Did not know her mum was Jayne Mansfield!

Louise Brooks, Maudie James, Miyako Yoshida, Lynn Seymour.

PlanktonsComputerWife · 08/01/2022 19:23

Lynn Seymour! That is not a name that pops up often. We have been watching her and Rudolf Nureyev in Giselle on repeat on YouTube. Enchanting! 😍

Been watching Shirley Bassey, the old footage on the BBC, and I nominate her. The look, the voice, the figure, the dresses. Stunning!

IHateCoronavirus · 08/01/2022 19:30

I think it is a lucky combination of looks and demeanour. My friend is beyond stunning. She’s slightly taller than average and slim but she looks strong too. She oozes health. Her skin is a very pale golden, her hair is naturally blond but so thick, her eyebrows and eyelashes are pale too but suit the rest of her. She is very natural looking, but sort of glows. She is very friendly and comes across as charismatic. The woman rolls out of bed for breakfast and turns heads.

OhWhyNot · 08/01/2022 19:35

Never has or will be a more beautiful and graceful woman as Miss Piggy

Who/What does a stunning woman look like to you?
5128gap · 08/01/2022 19:49

No one all the time, not even the beautiful people mentioned, and a lot of people some of the time. For me it's not something fixed that you either have or don't, it's how a person looks at that time. Head turning, need to have another look at them, memorable.

You're very welcome! I only found it recently. Nureyev, Seymour, Monica Mason as Myrthe, Youri Vamos as Hilarion- all stunning, and the Wilis are incredibly unsettling, their faces all in shadow. It's also wonderfully edited and makes some very good cuts to the first act, IMO. Enjoy.Wine

I had never seen a whole ballet with Lynn Seymour in it before. She is perfection. Her mad scene is one of the most affecting I've ever seen 💔, and her feet are beautiful.

Rachael Weisz in The Mummy was the first woman I remember thinking (as a kid) was how I would like to look, if I could look like anyone- still think she’s stunning

Helena Bonham Carter

Thandiwe Newton

Penelope Cruz.

Diane Keaton and Meryl Streep - both seem to only get more stunning with age

The author Zadie Smith

Rossy De Palma - not conventionally beautiful- but truly stunning
