DH sometimes talks in his sleep. One night he turned to me and said "Did you say something? " I muttered "No!" He then said "Did you say something yesterday? " Grin

I’m rewatching old WWE episodes from 2004 with my 8 year old son and Kane was wrestling Gene Snitsky in one particular episode. Kane’s wife Lita was ringside and watching her “husband” get absolutely battered without throwing him a chair or whatever. My son shouted at the tv “Come on mun Linda, help him out!”

Her name is Lita. Not Linda Grin he only calls this wrestler Linda now and it floors me.

Clevererthanyou · 09/05/2021 01:45

@ClingFilmAndGafferTape wtf?!? Who takes a turkey?!?!? Grin Grin Grin

Rod hill and emu clips, plus a bit of Fenton

BumCat · 09/05/2021 06:38

Schitt’s Creek, specifically Moira filming the advert for the wine and “A little bit La La La La La La a little bit Alexis!”

And Stath Let’s Flats. Stick with it, it’s so worth it. It’s something I revisit when I’m feeling shit. I love it. It’s oddly niche.

I was reading a collection of misheard song lyrics people have admitted to. One of them was Summer Nights from Grease

'Summer heat boiling your meat'

Obviously the lawyer with the cat filter

Also had a Zoom call with some old school friends recently, and one of them was reading our excerpts of her diary from when we were around 14. It was hilarious.

Clawdy · 11/05/2021 19:41

Tim Vine coming on stage wearing a hat exactly like a football, and saying sadly "I don't know why, but I keep getting me 'ead kicked in!"

ConstanceGracy · 11/05/2021 20:05

Last time I really properly laughed my head off was when that Cat filter zoom meeting story was in the news “I’m actually live, I’m not a cat” had me bawling at his panicked little cat eyes..
Something that’s made me laugh tonight is the episode of Everybody loves Raymond when he sees what names he can call Debra and get away with in a sing song voice. Hilarious

DH took a scam call from "BT". Usual script, caller said inernet running slowly etc. DH challenged the caller saying he thought it was a scam call. Bit of conversation backwards and forwards, eventually the caller said "bugger off arsehole" and put the phone down on DH Made me laugh out loud when he told me.

Yesterday when I picked my daughter age 7 up from after school club she came out with her face peering out of a cardboard box in which she'd cut a rectangular hole and announced "look mum, I'm on TV".

On the last episode of Shagged Married Annoyed podcast a listener had written in to say that a friend of theirs (English not their first language) had called their dog "Flaps" which I found hilarious.

The funniest thing I've ever seen (though you really had to be there) was in the office of an airport car park. They didn't have a record of the booking (we were actually at the wrong one) and invited husband to sit down at the desk while they tried to find out. He went to sit down on this office chair but his heavy rucksack was still on one shoulder and he completely overbalanced, doing a complete cartwheel sideways over the chair. Our son who was about 5 and I were in absolute hysterics. I had to hide behind a pillar to try and calm down. Son had found another chair and every time I managed to compose myself he re-enacted it and set me off again.

Your son re-enacting it just makes this story even better Grin

@imaginethemdragons

Ever watched Phoenix nights? There’s a psychic medium called Clinton Baptiste on it, Clinton Baptiste has a podcast...absolutely bloody brilliant. Absolutely laughing my head off driving along, by myself howling like a loon!
Thank you for suggesting this, it’s so funny. I listened to the bit about winning on a scratchcard today, made me howl.

Not tv but general life.... partner bought dd a mini quad for Christmas, she started off very unsure but now LOVES it. Last night he told her she could go out after dinner (we live on a farm so the field is literally out the back door) until she stalled it and wanted help starting it then that was time to go in. She stalled it but started it again herself and could be heard cackling "I'm Invincible" as she zoomed off.... the look of pure joy on his face that he had taught her something, the laughter at what she had said and the look of realisation that she will always run rings around him made me belly laugh!

SoMuchForSummerLove · 12/05/2021 22:33

We were talking about World War One over dinner. DD said she was learning at school about the animals used in the war.

DS (6) looked up with his beautiful innocent face and said 'but how did the horses shoot the guns?'

I almost peed while choking on my spaghetti.

Guernsey Tourette’s Guy on tiktok.

He uploads videos of him attempting to cook and it’s genuinely one of the funniest things I’ve ever seen. Poor bloke. Has me crying on every video though!

DShrute · 12/05/2021 22:56

This in Mumsnet classics. Some of it had me crying with laughter.
