Xh is fairly well known locally because of what he does.

This must have got round at ds' school and ds announced totally randomly over dinner last week "when people ask what dad is called I like to say he's called Keith." He isn't called Keith or anything like Keith. It really tickled me. Grin

I've been listening to the 'it's a fair cop' podcast on BBC Radio 4 - that has some good chuckles in it.

And then, rather inappropriately and I do understand how wrong it is, this news article made me snigger this evening. I would never knowingly harm an animal and do not condone this www.bbc.com/news/uk-england-lincolnshire-56995224

My year 8 class today. Some pupils sharing some of their work aloud. It's been ages since I've enjoyed a lesson so much. Such a joyous lesson. Laughing with each other for the first time all year.

A photograph of her daughter's French Lop rabbit riding on a robovac, sent to me by my friend of 59 years. He does it regularly...

The funniest thing I've seen in ages.

eatsleepread · 05/05/2021 20:24

This afternoon we had a builder come. I had to open the side door to let him through our back gate. When I walked alongside our house towards our gate I caught sight of a pair of women's lace & cotton knickers just sat on the top in our paper recycling box! I was mortified because I didn't want the builder to see them and think they were mine. So I covered them up with a piece of cardboard. Once he was past the recycling box and in the garden I went back to check them out. Most definitely not mine because all I own are black and nude thongs lol. They looked dirty and a bit rank and crusty. I wondered if they were my 65+yr old neighbours, but she's pretty classy and doesn't dry her laundry outside. Then I quickly wondered if husband had been up to something but I know he could do a better job at hiding evidence like that 🤣🤣🤣

When he got home I showed and we think they're from a neighbour a few doors down who always dries her family's laundry outside. It was windy as hell yesterday and we assume they blew off her line and into our yard and somehow settled in our recycling box.

Husband and I had a good laugh and joked that we should share a pic of them ok our road's Facebook group to see if anyone claims them 😂😂😂

I can't work out how to share it but there was this Facebook video yesterday from a page called The Country, called sheep at their very best. Was a bloke pulling a sheep out of a ditch then the sheep ran away and leapt merrily straight back into the ditch. Made me laugh out loud every time I watched it.

doodleygirl · 05/05/2021 20:43

On Friday I met up with my DD and DM, we went for a walk in the rain, something started us giggling and then loud roaring laughs. I can’t even remember what it was, it was so brilliant for the 3 of us walking together and laughing. I have been smiling whenever I think of it.

Roll on mid May when they can come inside.

CrotchetyQuaver · 05/05/2021 20:45

Sat in a pub garden last Sunday, someone on the table behind us let out a really loud fart, we were in tears we were laughing so much....

IveNameChangedAgain2020 · 05/05/2021 20:47

I feel like I never laugh anymore BUT

Schitts Creek. I laughed so much my husband thought I was crying. (Late to the party on this one)

Graham Norton. I know he's not everyone's cup of tea but he makes me howl.

Glitterblue · 05/05/2021 20:48

When the cat stole a huge blanket from DD's bed and hauled it right onto the landing in his mouth yesterday 😂

EmpressSuiko · 05/05/2021 20:49

A short “fails” clip. A guy fell of his bicycle and sounded exactly like Luigi, I don’t know why but I couldn’t stop laughing!

EmpressSuiko · 05/05/2021 20:50

Oh and the Jurassic park/Fenton video, silly stuff like that puts me in stitches!

Late to the party with it but my god it’s stupidly funny

Slippy78 · 05/05/2021 20:53

I was watching old episodes of Bottom earlier today.

Absolutely hilarious.

Stormwhale · 05/05/2021 20:55

I was blowing up a balloon for my ds (2yo). He bashed the balloon as I did so, making it slip out of my mouth and make a huge raspberry sound. He absolutely screamed with laughter, shouting "balloon! Bum!" And blowing raspberries. He got me to do it over and over and was laughing his head off every time. His laughter was that almost hysterical sort of laughter and I couldn't stop laughing at him. It was the sort of laughing that makes your stomach hurt and you get a headache after. I haven't laughed like that in a very long time.
