To ask what last made you properly laugh?

Am feeling really meh at the moment and would love to hear what’s made you chuckle.

We watched an old Fast Show the other night. It included the "Down an 'ole, in the fog with an owl" sketch.
I'm still laughing about it now.

If I ever need cheering up I watch the episode of the graham norton show with wiil.i.am and miriam margoyles.

Oh, and the memory of DH trying to collapse a pop up ball pit someone had bought DGS for his birthday. Every time he managed to get one side folded down and under control the other side would pop back up, his face was doing this weird mixture of utter confusion because he couldn't understand why he couldn't do it, frustration and dismay because the damn thing just wouldn't behave, I've honestly never laughed so hard in my life. The joke was on me as the bloody thing lived (fully 'popped up') on top of the dog crate in my living room for months until DGS got bored of it and we could legitimately throw it away, I was heartily glad to see the back of it in the end

Ds and I were talking about when Dh broke his leg but refused to believe there was a problem. It might sound terrible to be laughing at someone’s broken leg but Dh brings it on his self
Dh had slipped on our open staircase stairs on Sunday evening and was complaining that he was in pain.
We told him to go and get it checked out at A&E as he said it was hurting. I would have driven him.
Instead he got up the following day and went to work.
Said it was painful but he battled through

The following morning he called me to help him get his shoe on as it wouldn’t fit.

His shoe was a modest size 11. His foot resembled something off Walking with Dinosaurs.
It was the insistence that his shoe would go on I just needed to wiggle it about to get it on his foot and when the children came down to see this monster sized foot it was him telling us there wasn’t anything wrong and everything was fine when it was clearly not that gets us laughing every time we think of it.

When I read an article on Donkeys environmental effect and learnt that Donkeys dig deep holes to get to underground water. Donkey dig Ass holes.

I made my husband jump pout of his skin by sticking my head round the cupboard door! The look on his face - you'd think I was an axe murderer 😆. Made me laugh though.

Being at work last week, one colleague in the staff room doing impressions of other colleagues. Had us all roaring with laughter.

Ukip's mayoral candidate is called Peter Gammons. Their slogan is Gammons for London.

I was peering out the car window at someone who I thought, from a distance, was my dh, but I couldn't properly tell. I tried to 'enlarge the image' using my fingers on the window, the way you would with a photo on your phone. When I realised what I was doing I got the giggles, but was very glad nobody else saw.

The last thing that really tickled me - I couldn’t stop chuckling for ages - was a thread here on MN about naughty things our toddlers have done. In particular, one poor lady who said her toddler got hold of a permanent marker pen, and “joined all the dots on my dalmatian”! The more I thought about that poor dalmatian going out for walks with his dots joined, and the inevitable comments, the more hysterical I got!

Oh me too. Keeps popping into my head at inappropriate times. . Queue at Tesco, hairdressers . . .
