So just found this on my spare room floor..
I think its a little tube to store coke in. It has a white powder in.
Has anyone seen this before?
Not mine obviously.

Want to know before I say something..

@HirplesWithHaggis

I have bought seeds online, which were sent in similar containers. But no white powder.
I was just coming on to say this. It could be the dust from perlite granules, which the seeds were stored in? I'm probably reaching there, tbh.
AnneFuckingKirrin · 28/04/2021 18:45

That’s looks really grainy and crystallised .
It looks like it could be salt.
You might have to lick it op.

Yorkshirecrab · 28/04/2021 18:45

Well sorry but not everyone can be as expertly equipped with drugs knowledge as you clearly are.

Sorry it was meant to be a sort of funny side eye. I work with people who misuse substances. Just want to reassure the OP that I'm pretty sure nobody would put drugs in that to sell. Whether the kid decided to put it in there is a different matter.

MsSquiz · 28/04/2021 18:45

@Yorkshirecrab drugs can and are put it a lot of things.

I knew a girl who would keep her coke in a straw, cut the straw to size and seal the ends so it was easier to do in toilets without faffing about with a bag!

TooMuchYarn · 28/04/2021 18:45

It looks like the micro centifuge tube I used for experiments in microbiology at university. Does it belong to a science student? Or else they could be used for samples of makep I guess.

😂

I also think you should LICK IT.

EpitomeofAnOldBattle · 28/04/2021 18:45

Coke doesn't smell like petrol.
It tastes like crushed up paracetamol but more metallic very bitter
It also has a tendency to make your gums or roof of mouth go numb

I've been clean 10 years but coke never came in eppendorf tubes when I did it.

SunsetBeetch · 28/04/2021 18:45

It looks like the cap from something like a nasal spray.

RonSwansonsChair · 28/04/2021 18:46

Jofra makes a good point above, if that is the remnants of drugs it a big waste not to be able to get it all out.

Poppydex · 28/04/2021 18:47

It's an ex not a child only found it while cleaning out his old half of wardrobe.

In the pictures it looks like that clear glitter with sparkles in I know. But it's not.
The tube is empty and the white powder residue is round the outside.

Coke has been a problem in the past.

Poppydex · 28/04/2021 18:48

Not a cap it has a flip open lid.

So a lot like the covid tubes but smaller, harder plastic and no ribs on outside.

Marshmallow91 · 28/04/2021 18:48

@EpitomeofAnOldBattle the purer stuff does, or so I've found. But your description is pretty spot on with the smell.

IHaveBrilloHair · 28/04/2021 18:48

Dd who is clued up says it'd be highly unusual to put drugs in that.
(Actually she said it differently but I thought I'd translate politely)

KarensChoppyBob · 28/04/2021 18:48

I don't even think you need to lick it, if it is drugs as soon as you open it you'll get a strong chemical whiff from it.

thighsin · 28/04/2021 18:49

I want some coke now Grin

Poppydex · 28/04/2021 18:49

Feel sick. Its all over my hand now. Got the slight tablety smell to it.

OP posts:
KarensChoppyBob · 28/04/2021 18:49

Oh I see you have opened it. And?

Marshmallow91 · 28/04/2021 18:49

With your update @Poppydex I'd bet it is then. The most logical explanation is usually the correct one.

Doggitydog · 28/04/2021 18:50

I’ve never seen drugs in one of them, doesn’t mean it isn’t drugs but it’s not the first thing I’d think of if I found it. Do you have a reason to suspect its been dropped by someone who is using?

AfterSchoolWorry · 28/04/2021 18:51

Taste it, if it's bitter and makes your tongue/gum numb it's coke.

Grilledaubergines · 28/04/2021 18:51

Well if it’s an ex’s, and they’ve had a problem with Coke in the pat, you probably have your answer. Just bin it.

Or lick it.

goldierocks · 28/04/2021 18:52

It looks exactly the same as these 'centrifuge tubes' on Amazon.

The description says "Widely used in laboratory, food coloring, clinical chemistry, research institution, crafts and so on."

BTW.... a few years ago, a house on my road was being used as a bail hostel. There used to be regular visits by people on mopeds. One guy dropped what he was carrying and it was a mixture of ziplock bags and small tin-foil packets; not a plastic vial in sight.

UGH1 · 28/04/2021 18:52

Sorry but I know a lot of people who store coke in these for nights out.... for bumps..

Poppydex · 28/04/2021 18:52

I've never seen drugs in one of them either. But who knows I've seen tiktok videos where people put it in necklaces when they go to festivals so who knows.

@Marshmallow91
To be fair, my sense of smell was not the best back then Blush
