Did anyone ever make a second FIL champagne thread?

Just seen its full up and can't find another thread for it.

I wanted to ask OP @KnittedJimmychoos whether your FIL had definitely bought the champagne? or whether it was their friend who bought it and that's why FIL was awkward about it?

(As in... you were accidentally rudely taking the fancy champagne that their friend had brought with them? )
