Hoovering the stairs with my stupid 'Henry' hoover that throws itself down the stairs.
My boss who does everything by the book and no common sense what so ever. She wants a risk assessment for everything we do, including taking the rubbish out!

FunnysInLaJardin · 25/04/2021 22:38

windy weather. I hate it, it puts me on edge and has been windy for weeks.

I want to live somewhere there is no wind

sage46 · 25/04/2021 22:42

..... and the women at the checkout who ALWAYS asks me for my dividend card and if I don't have it on me tuts and shakes her head at me like I have forgotten to hand in my homework.

Vursayles · 25/04/2021 22:43

Agree with wasps. Every spring we have them scouting out the fascia and guttering looking for somewhere to get in to build a nest. Massive fucking queen wasps and everything - absolutely vile. It’s starting up again and I think they’ve found a way in as we’re getting dead ones inside.

We had to pay to get all the nests in the attic removed when we moved in but prior to that all summer we were so plagued by them we could barely go outside. Hate the bloody things with a passion.

@Friendofdennis

Frozen shoulder which persisted for nearly three years and which I am afraid may come back. I couldn’t lift my arm up or to the side at all in that time. It was impossible to do many things such as opening the car boot, picking up shopping bags even cleaning my teeth or washing my hair. I couldn’t turn on taps or open doors with my right arm I don’t know how I managed to cook and it was a struggle to lift food in and out of the oven
@Friendofdennis How did you fix it? Also assuming you are an expert Wink is it likely that I have 2? Confused I have to really cautiously move my arms back and up otherwise it’s excruciating. I’m hyper mobile in my legs and hips so having 2 clunky painful shoulders is strange.
SpiderinaWingMirror · 25/04/2021 22:44

Fucking potholes.
Youd have thought, we can send a probe to feckin Mars, surely its possible to invent a durable road surface.

JustGotToKeepOnKeepingOn · 25/04/2021 22:44

Online passwords. Try to log on. Computer says no... so I try to set up a new password (the one I just tried and it refused) computer says you can't have that password as you already had it... use something else Confused

UnforgottenPunk · 25/04/2021 22:48

My name. It's not a made up name, but a variant of a much more common name, one that it is more commonly used in Europe.

Absolute PIA making any appointments, paperwork etc.

elliejjtiny · 25/04/2021 22:49

Laundry
Trying to get any support for my dc who have SN.
People who tell me about their wife's hairdresser's postman's auntie who had the exact same problem as me but they coped without moaning and also have a very tidy house.

Get a stick vacuum! Dyson new one is brilliant
nanbread · 25/04/2021 22:51

CLOTHES MOTHS, total cunts.

CuntyMcBollocks · 25/04/2021 22:55

Working fucking night shifts!! I hate it, but am stuck doing them for the foreseeable future. I'm sick of being constantly tired and miserable and only getting broken sleep here and there. It's fucking shite.

Hawkins001 · 25/04/2021 22:57

That in this day an age, everyone you talk to, could potentially be wearing a mask, and that you sometimes or most of the time, you can never know the true person and that in the end the only true people you can trust and confide in, is animal's or the kettle with a cuppa tea.

Thursa · 25/04/2021 22:59

Yes to the deciding meals, and cooking every flaming night!
Emptying the dishwasher. I do dishes by hand rather than empty the damn thing.
Dogs licking themselves. We have three dogs and there seems to always be one licking at their feet.
Stress incontinence. Cough...pee, laugh...pee, strain to lift something...pee.

Bubbletime123 · 25/04/2021 23:03

In my job we get a mystery shopper every month. So queue my biggest smile fake conversation and trying to pretend to be happy with everything everyone says im actually living on my nerves every day im at work.

crackofdoom · 25/04/2021 23:04

All the online life admin- the forms, the emails, the “Enter your username and password to log in to your account to complete this crucial form...oh whoops, looks like you forgot it, what a surprise!” The setting up of new BACS payments for footling amounts, which takes 10 times longer than sticking a cheque in an envelope. The way it never, never ends.

This is what led to me sitting on the doorstep shouting at the man from the census “NO I WILL NOT do it online! I can’t take it any more! I demand you send me a paper form!” Blush sorry census man.

CirqueDeMorgue · 25/04/2021 23:08

My wonderful son who has ASD. Constant battle but wouldn't be without him! 🤷‍♀️

I know exactly what you mean.

I have two frozen shoulders. My left one 'went' 18 months ago. My right one 'went' in January.

My right shoulder is my dominant side. It's excruciating. Feels like a broken bone it's so painful. Not slept more than 20 min naps for ages.

First thing I do before I get out of bed is rub my face - agony if I reach with right side. Second - tie hair back - agony. Ablutions - agony. Can't grip between thumb and first finger. Shooting pains. Tingling. Gnawing, deep ache.

One doctor said very common in older women with under active thyroid. Another said very common in older women who are hypermobile. I'm both.
Probably why both shoulders affected at same time 🙄😬

Can't get any access to any form of help.

HintOfVintagePink · 25/04/2021 23:12

Packing lunchboxes
On street parkers
More vehicles than property inhabitants
Barking dogs
Unemployed going to banks/post offices etc at peak lunchtime rush
Parents who delay sending children to childcare until they get it for free, but still don’t get a job

Pyewackect · 25/04/2021 23:13

Cardboard boxes. They seem to appear from nowhere!. It’s like the sorcerer’s apprentice !.

AintPageantMaterial · 25/04/2021 23:17

Flossing and using interdental brushes. Hygienist says I must. It’s added 8 minutes to my bedtime routine! I hope I get better at it.

Friendofdennis · 25/04/2021 23:18

I’m sorry Etinox but it could be that you have frozen shoulder in both arms. Obviously you need to have it diagnosed properly though. I had physio and painkillers and also found that far infrared therapy ( in the form of a sleep mat helped). Now I have developed neuropathy in my legs and the far infrared mat really helps me to sleep and to deal with the pain. I hope you find therapies which work for you

Houseofvelour · 25/04/2021 23:19

Putting laundry away. Once it's all away, I blink and there are 5 more bloody loads that need to be done.
