Don't want to be disgusting but mine keeps letting me down.
I use the Sure brand.

I have also used one in a little glass jar from the Natural Deodorant Co ( i bought it from Selfridges) and that didn’t have the issues that the Wild one does, it is more expensive and slightly tricker to use, but worked well so I may go back to that.

MiniMaxi · 22/04/2021 23:40

Bionsen spray deodorant.

Chouetted · 22/04/2021 23:41

Mitchum - saw it recommended on a thread like this, never looked back.

RoseMartha · 22/04/2021 23:43

Whichever roll on I can get for £1

I quite like Dove original or Sanex sensitive.

Sengi · 22/04/2021 23:45

Another Wild fan here. I'm a convert from Mitchum stick.

BashfulClam · 22/04/2021 23:45

They’ve changed Mitchum and it makes me break out. I swore by it too!

FrankButchersDickieBow · 22/04/2021 23:46

Mitcham. The one you twist that looks like mop a top hair shop.

Only one that works for me

BashfulClam · 22/04/2021 23:49

I agree that bar soap is better than liquid. Dice is not soap by the way. I use dettol soap, usually easily to get in savers or home bargains. Wash with it and dry well then apply body piercer (never talc) and anti-perspirant. If you smell by the end if they day carry so wet wipes and wipe your underarms then re-spray.

Pollypudding · 22/04/2021 23:54

Another one for Mitchum roll on - powder fresh. The spray doesn’t work as well for me.

DenisetheMenace · 22/04/2021 23:56

Whatever’s the cheapest when I need it. Thankfully, I’m lucky not to sweat profusely.
My great auntie who did swore by Mitchum.

PattyPan · 22/04/2021 23:58

Aromaco from Lush

Shergill15 · 22/04/2021 23:58

Mitchum roll on. Dont buy anything else now as I've found its the only one that works. Can't use spray ones they really irritate my skin

vickylou78 · 23/04/2021 00:00

Mitchum cream/stick unscented works amazing and stops sweating and odour.

But if it's smell you are concerned with, I would look at what type of clothes you are wearing. Synthetic clothes can be the cause for some people. Also not using biological washing powder as the sweat smell particles may never get completely washed out of armpits of clothes of certain fabrics without using a bit of biological powder. Worth a try if you aren't already using to wash your clothes.

Homehaircuts · 23/04/2021 00:09

I'm allergic to aluminium in deodorant so I'm really limited to like one choice in the supermarket. I use Biosen its not bad, nice smell but I don't have much choice, I would use stronger if I could. One thing I really find helps is washing with antibacterial soap under my arms every morning then putting the deodorant on. I smell fine all day then, even when I get a bit sweaty. Wash the pits at night and put more deodorant on. If I miss the antibacterial soap I can tell. I use sensitive Dettol soap. Have you ever heard of some people not having the gene for smelly armpits? my Fil has it apparently and he passed it on to my DH who never needs deodorant and never smells of b.o. Apparently it's the same gene for flaky ear wax. So if you have flaxy ear wax and not waxy you may have the none b.o gene too! Hmm

1000umbrellas · 23/04/2021 00:09

I used to be stinky at the end of the day no matter what kind of antiperspirant/deodorant I wore so I gave up on them and started just using soap and glory body spray instead and it's been absolutely fine. I no longer have that acrid smell at the end of the day and I find I can get a couple of wears out of a top now whereas they used to be single wear only. Took a couple of weeks so maybe not one to try if you're back at work but if you're still at home maybe worth an experiment?

Northernsoulgirl45 · 23/04/2021 00:11

Biosen as doesn't contain aluminium.

Vaseline... smells lovely and never lets me down. Been using it for about 25 years
Cartwheelingdinosaur · 23/04/2021 06:21

I work in a hot environment doing a physical job. Most deoderants let us down. Dove and sure are useless. The team have found Michum to be the best. I think we all use it now.

Whilst doing my mil shopping during lockdown I noticed she uses lidls own roll ons. (Pink cap) I tried that for about 60p. Its been surprisingly pretty good too. I have never had to reapply it. But it does leave a build up on my clothes.

Mitchum 48 hour ultimate gel. Works wonders. I used Sure for years then it stopped working and I just started to smell like hot deodorant Blush

Motnight · 23/04/2021 06:31

Mitcham roll on. It is the only that has worked for me since the peri menopause.

SimonJT · 23/04/2021 06:32

Driclor, I only need to use it around every 7-10 days.

towers14 · 23/04/2021 06:32

Mitchum spray, the best.

LaMariposa · 23/04/2021 06:37

The Natural Deodorant Co - Lemon one. It's amazing, the only one that keeps all smells completely gone. It's not an antiperspirant, just a deodorant, but in the year+ I've been using it I get less sweaty.

Nothing else coped with my peri/menopausal stink.

Roselilly36 · 23/04/2021 06:37

I use the max strength dove, the one in the box that’s a cream stick, expensive but it never lets me down. I found Mitchum made my skin really sore.
