Don't want to be disgusting but mine keeps letting me down.
I use the Sure brand.

I use Wild like a pp, but I find it leaves an oily mark and a strange smell on my shirts, so I may change. I don’t use it every day as I am chilly rather than sweaty.

Thirtyrock39 · 22/04/2021 22:41

Also agree with bar soap, and avoid tight fabrics and polyester type fabrics under armpits

Eaumyword · 22/04/2021 22:41

Mitchum stick in the fresh scent. Smells lovely and keeps my menopausal chubbiness nice and fresh all day.

Notaroadrunner · 22/04/2021 22:42

@snoopy8

Mitchum. Best on the market by far!
I agree. I use the roll on and let it dry before putting on a top. I tried loads over the years but Mitchum is the only one that worked. I use the non perfume one.
seepingweeping · 22/04/2021 22:42

Mitchum stick deodorant.

SakuraEdenSwan1 · 22/04/2021 22:43

Does the Mitchum smell nice thou?

Rosewood017 · 22/04/2021 22:44

Sanex roll-on the blue top one.

Only one that stops me getting sweat patches! Have tried many before. Body never seems to train itself to resist it after prolonged use either, which happens with others.

JimBobNoJob · 22/04/2021 22:44

Men’s Dove, Clean Comfort 48 hr.
Have tried all sorts of woman’s and several men’s, sprays and roll ons (including Mitchum) They just seem to fail me.

Men’s dove is the only thing I found that works.

Eaumyword · 22/04/2021 22:44

Ooh yes, I got the bar soap tip from MN! So I use the soap and if I'm feeling particularly jazzy, a bit of shower gel afterwards for the smell! Bar soap is a game changer for freshness.

DialsMavis · 22/04/2021 22:45

I try to only buy cruelty free and the Sanex vegan one was no match for my sweaty yet sanctimonius armpits so had to get the only cf one in Sainsbos: Love Beauty and Planet. At £4.50 a pop I thought I was going to be disappointed but it works really well.

Justmuddlingalong · 22/04/2021 22:45

Mitchum stick here too. Often on special in superdrug. I had wiffy perimenopausal pits, and I honestly found this to keep me fresh all day.

TerribleZebra · 22/04/2021 22:46

Wild - works really well, lots of lovely fragrances and no plastic waste.

TheOpen · 22/04/2021 22:46

Another vote for Mitchum roll on.

Give the different types a sniff in the supermarket to see which scent you prefer as I feel they all smell quite strong.

Nibblypiggotonabus · 22/04/2021 22:48

Another vote for Mitchum, used it for years

Dontfuckingsaycheese · 22/04/2021 22:48

Sure let me down years ago after working for ever. They changed the ingredients - they sent coupons to apologise 😉 Since I've used Soft and Gentle roll-on. The purple lavender one. You can get in pound shops 😉 It's tougher than its name suggests!

CeeceeBloomingdale · 22/04/2021 22:49

I hate the scented Mitchums and I don't like unscented unless I'm on holiday (the scented ones make me tan strangely). I normally rotate between buying either roll on or stick Sanex, Nivea, Sure or Dove, whichever is on offer. My body seems to get used to them quickly so needs the challenge of a different formula regularly

MrsBungle · 22/04/2021 22:49

I use Vaseline sensitive. It’s the only one that I don’t itch with.

PishFood · 22/04/2021 22:50

Sweaty Betty here! I’ve tried a lot and the good ones are Mum 48hr roll on, Dove 48hr & Sure 48hr stick (these are around a fiver but worth it). Personally, I don’t like the Mitchum smell.

mrstea301 · 22/04/2021 22:50

Just started using wild as trying to be more environmentally friendly, really liking it so far! Previously used men's right guard as it was the only one I found effective.

SweatyBetty20 · 22/04/2021 22:51

Sure shower fresh spray. Tried Dove and Nicea but they feel wet and sticky.

Justmuddlingalong · 22/04/2021 22:51

I had that awful moment of realising that my deodorant was no longer working, and that I smelt like one of my aunts when I was wee. She would have been the age I am now.

WildGarlicTime · 22/04/2021 22:51

Yes yes yes to Mitchum. Best one out there at a reasonable price

diamondpony80 · 22/04/2021 22:51

I use the first one I see in the supermarket or whatever's on offer. Teenage DS has problems with excessive sweating though and I get him one called Perspi Guard off Amazon. It's about £12 I think but good if you need something a bit stronger (it's unisex I'm sure).

EvilOnion · 22/04/2021 22:52

@SirVixofVixHall I think that's quite a common complaint.

I put it on before getting dressed, dress bottom half then top giving it a bit of time to dry. Haven't had any issues since :)

TyneTeas · 22/04/2021 22:53

Mitchum. Prefer the stick to roll on as can't be bothered to wait for it to dry
