To ask what deodorant you use?

Don't want to be disgusting but mine keeps letting me down.
I use the Sure brand.

I remember a medical programme (probs with the Van Tullekan docs), which mentioned that showering in the morning with bar soap rather than shower gel was important in addition to deodorant for people who sweat a lot.

I find wearing pure cotton tops rather than polyester/polyester blends really helpful- synthetic fabrics make me sweat a lot.

Sure deodorant works well for me- I put it on after my bath at night and again after my shower in the day.

Oh also I think they mentioned that roll-on works much better than spray too. I use the Sure roll-on.

A lot of deodorants smell weird on me too, so I tend to go for unscented ones. Mitchum is definitely the best.

Mitchum stick. I prefer the unscented one which is hard to get in my local Boots. I am looking forward to being able to go non-essential shopping and pop into other shops when restrictions ease here in Scotland next week!

I use nuud. I love it, SO much. A tiny 20ml tube lasts me four to five months, as I only need to apply it every five days. The tube is made from sugarcane, so it's really environmentally friendly too.

Mitchum roll on. Used to just buy whatever was on cheapest offer from the supermarket but will never go back now.

I sweat and stink over the course of the day
I wash with soap not shower gel,I use driclor last thing on a night (be warned-it stings) wash it off with water and soap then I use normal deodorant (at the moment I’m using sure but it’s whatever is on offer)
It’s amazing stuff but if your pits are the smallest bit damp it stings like a bitch
A tiny bottle lasts about 4/5 months

I'm going to sound like a knob, but I use the Secret cream stick ones brought back from the USA. I always used to use Secret and then they stopped selling it here afaik. I stock up on loads but will be running out soon.

Blimey so many recommendations for Mitchem! Gonna look for it this week now! Used Sure stick for years and always been happy with that.

But I stopped using deodorant in lockdown - don't think I smell, wondering if I need to start using it again.

I use Perspirex underarm and in damper areas every one to two weeks, and various men's L'Oreal anti-perspirants everywhere else daily. I know Mitchum is popular but I don't find it works as well for me as Perspirex. Sure never did anything for me at all, ever, apart from make me wheeze.

Dove maximum protection is brilliant and I'm a very sweaty person. The Sure maximum protection is also very good but doesn't smell quite as good as the Dove one.

Mitchum antiperspirant apart from the natural version which doesn't work.
Rituals antiperspirant spray is also surprisingly effective.

Mitchum roll on is the only one that works for me.
